I highly recommend Westland Veterinary Hospital. As first-time dog owners, my partner and I were determined to find a veterinarian who was reliable, informative, and genuinely caring. We were referred to Westland by a close friend, and we are so grateful we were. From the moment we walked in, Molly and Katie at the front desk were welcoming, organized, and incredibly friendly. Katie ensured we were comfortably settled into the room and handled our 3-month-old puppy, Millie, with such care. She thoughtfully addressed our questions and clearly walked us through what to expect during the appointment. When we met Dr. Budihal, the experience only got better. He spent a generous amount of time with us and didn’t leave the room until every question and concern had been fully addressed. We truly felt his passion and love for animals, and we’re so grateful that he will be Millie’s veterinarian moving forward. He also took the time to walk us through important “first-time pet owner” information and provided affordable, realistic options to help get Millie on the right track. The clinic’s reward-based approach was evident from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The entire experience exceeded our expectations. I highly, highly encourage anyone looking for a veterinary clinic to visit Westland Veterinary Hospital. It truly could not have been a better experience.

I have been going to the Westland Veterinary Hospital for many years and have consistently received excellent care for my pets. Dr. Budihal truly cares about the animals he treats, and it shows in the level of attention and compassion he provides at every visit. The entire team is always helpful, attentive, and supportive, making sure all questions are answered and concerns addressed. It’s comforting to know they are there whenever you need them. I brought our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppy in for her very first check-up with Dr. B and I couldn’t be happier with the care she received. From the moment we walked in, the entire team was welcoming, patient, and so gentle with our little girl. Dr. B took the time to answer all my new-puppy questions, explained everything clearly and made sure our puppy felt completely at ease during her exam. You can truly feel how much he cares about his patients - his calm, reassuring approach made the appointment stress-free for both myself and our pup. The clinic is clean, organized and efficient and the staff went above and beyond to make the visit smooth and positive. We left feeling confident, informed and incredibly grateful to have such a wonderful veterinary team supporting our puppy’s health. As a full blown crazy cat lady, I love this place! I came across it when the Meow Foundation recommended it for the neutering of one of my rescues and I just kept going back. Dr. Budihal is an absolute gem and it's always so nice to see him. He is kind, knowledgeable, always takes the time to explain things in detail, and is so patient with my 9000 questions, which I appreciate. Everyone I have encountered there has been an absolute delight to work with. Never had a bad experience! Thanks to everyone at this clinic for being so wonderful. I appreciate you, and so do all of my cats!
