Today I had my first Advanced IPL Photofacial at Viso Medi Spa located downtown Calgary with central access for all. Unfortunately I spent my youth not caring for my skin as I should have, not wearing sunscreen diligently, and spent time in tanning booths. Luckily for me, the team at Viso Medi Spa used their expertise and unique targeted techniques to tackle several areas of hyperpigmentation and vascular discolouration on my face and neck. The procedure was quick and the team checked in on me regularly to ensure I was comfortable throughout. The laser feels warm and slightly spicy in some areas where extra attention was required, but was very tolerable especially given the speed of the procedure. After the IPL treatment, I was given cooling pads for my face and a wonderful massage of my arms, neck, and shoulders which left me feeling refreshed. Immediately after, my skin feels dewy and tighter with minimal redness in a few small areas. I can’t wait to see how my face and neck look and feel in the coming weeks. I had a gem IPL photo facial a couple of weeks ago, and I am really happy with the results. She treated my spider veins and the overall tone (red) and texture (ruddy) of my face, which is visibly improved. Maddie made sure I was comfortable and knew what was going on during the treatment. Highly recommend.

Fabulous experience! I had an unplanned trip to Calgary to see my daughter and decided to book us something special. Tammy was able to fit us in that day. We had hydro facials and our skin felt like brand new baby skin after. The music was so relaxing and the service was wonderful. I loved the productive used and she explained what they were, as I do have Rosacea and she also was able to fit in a laser session which helped remove some of the redness and obviously veins around my nose and in my cheeks and forehead. I got to try her new laser and she checked in with me to make sure I wasn’t feeling any discomfort (none) and was able to recommend products to help reduce the redness and lines and damage that my skin had been experiencing. Tammy knew what she was doing, was such a professional and I couldn’t say enough good things about the experience. If I wasn’t 5 hours away I would be there every month just for the relaxation and pampering. I can’t wait to come back next time I’m in Calgary. The building was easy to find and there was a parking lot half a block away. Her space was immaculate and very well designed.

I have come to Viso Medi Spa over the last 5-6 years for laser hair removal and let me just say that Tammy and all her ladies are amazing. The office is very clean and Tammy especially takes great care to make sure you are getting the best service possible and she is always striving to have the latest, best equipment. definitely would recommend giving them a try for your skin care needs!

I recently had Hydra facial at Viso spa. The place is small but very clean and welcoming, right in Calgary China town. My aesthetician Maddi was very efficient and professional, no pressure sales tactics or pushing their products. The results were great. I will definitely go back and would highly recommend this spa.
