On Feb 20th 2026. My heat does not work. Only replace the board ,but he run out, run in my house to get the tool, 3 times total 2 hours .But the company must to me payment all the time he works. why ? It is does not fair for customer. the staff did not say how much charge fee the labor before he do and the part around $400 but the bill is 567 not tax . I will not recommend for other person. they do not honest about the price of service .

So far so good. Just had a water heater installed and they were the quickest in town, they could come next day. They came right on time quickly worked and shared knowledge to nfl us going forward. Much appreciated 👏! Thanks!

He is knowledgeable, passionate, and brings over 10 years of experience in the HVAC industry. I would highly recommend James, Robbie, and the rest of the team at Variety Plumbing for any boiler needs. We truly appreciated James sharing his expertise and answering all our questions. He even assisted with concerns about another boiler system we have at a different property. James was patient, thorough, and provided simple, cost-effective solutions to help maintain our boiler. He helped us better understand our system, and every time he visits, we learn something new. James is a straight shooter—he won’t recommend unnecessary services just to make a quick buck. Excellent job quoting and installing a commercial hot water tank for our 18 unit apartment block. Robbie called around and found the best hot water tank price for us. He got back to me very quickly. I did not have to chase him for a call back. They got me a tank within 24 hours so our tenants did not loose access to water due to the breakdown. Tyson and Dustin worked very hard to make sure the install went seamlessly. Took 6 hours. Tyson showed up the day before to check parts and to make sure he would have everything he needed for the day of install. I really appreciated this bc it sped up the process and there was no wasting time. The guys cleaned up after themselves. They mopped up the water and even straightened my carpet out on the way out. This goes a long way as this attention to detail reflects the type of work they do. It must be hard to have passion for plumbing but they have it!! It was our first time using Variety and I was hesitant to try a new team. Happy to work with them moving forward. Do not hesitate to give Robbie a call for your HVAC needs.

Update May 31, 2023 I called Robbie in regards to installing a water filtration system. He stated they have had many calls but haven’t done any yet. So we both decided let’s find a solution for people in Regina for a no maintenance, inexpensive whole home water filtration system. Robbie emailed me and found a true winning product for Regina’s water issues. GAC is a granular activated carbon unit that just runs and does an incredible job at taking away many chemicals like chlorine. The price was great and we said yup let’s do it. Devin came and installed but not long after there was a small leak. It’s very rare but this is how you know just how great customer service is with Variety. Everything held for a few days until Devin returned (a truly nice person, well educated and pleasant to talk too) and replaced the head in 15 minutes and all is good. My wife and I are truly grateful in the end as this filtration should be in every house in Regina. If you consider a 25 year or greater life it works out to 15 cents a day for water that won’t burn your skin when you get out of a shower or corrode pipes, etc. It’s so important to have clean water. We recommend calling Robbie at Variety Plumbing and Heating, you won’t regret it. Thank you so much again until next time for another job truly well done. Kevin and Karen I called Variety Plumbing and Heating a couple of weeks ago and spoke to the owner about a Generac whole home backup power unit running using natural gas. He was a couple of blocks away and stopped in and gave an instant quote and we found a great spot to put it. Robert said it could take awhile to get Saskpower lined up as everyone is real busy. In the end he got everyone lined up and we got lucky getting a bigger unit than planned at no extra cost. The crew which was all Variety Electric did an amazing job, they were professional, courteous and very knowledgeable. Took them the entire day but everything went absolutely perfect. We couldn’t be happier having that peace of mind knowing these outages that have been frequent won’t be an issue. Especially in winter. I can’t say enough good things but definitely would recommend them to everyone as they left the place tidy and clean as well. It wasn’t easy either as it involved having to crawl under the deck twice. Many thanks to everyone involved.
