I have followed Dr. Erin Parchello throughout her career, and I now see her at University District Veterinary Clinic — I truly wouldn’t trust anyone else with my animals. Over the years, she has cared for multiple pets of mine through every stage of life, including some very difficult goodbyes. Now, with my newer fur babies, I continue to choose her because of the way she practices medicine. Dr. Parchello is incredibly knowledgeable, straightforward, and compassionate. She never tries to upsell unnecessary treatments or push expensive options. Instead, she clearly explains what’s going on, provides realistic options, and works with you based on your financial situation. I’ve never once felt pressured — only supported and respected. It’s obvious she genuinely cares about the animals she treats and the people who love them. That kind of integrity and compassion is rare. In my experience, no other vets compare.

Dr. Erin and Ms. Marlo are top drawer! I have followed them from their first location in the deep south of Calgary to their new practice in University District. It’s an hour’s drive one way for me and my 4 dogs but it is worth it. Such great care is provided so that my dogs live healthy and happy lives. Most importantly, Dr. Erin “listens”. While I’m the furthest from being a vet, she values my input and together we manage the well being of my very cherished, four legged family.

We cannot say enough good things about Dr. Erin Parchello at University District Veterinary Clinic. We have quite literally followed her everywhere for years, and that alone should say how much trust we have in her. The facility is beautiful with convenient parking behind or underground. Staff are so lovely and they have top technology like ultrasound. Erin is exceptionally honest, compassionate, and an outstanding practitioner. She manages our dog’s chronic condition with such care and thoughtfulness, has supported our aging pets with realism and empathy, and has been incredible with our two rescue cats. She takes the time to explain options clearly, never pressures, and always puts the well-being and quality of life of our animals first. It is rare to find a vet who balances medical excellence with genuine kindness the way she does. We feel completely confident knowing our pets are in her care. If you are looking for a veterinarian you can truly trust, Dr. Erin Parchello is it.

Thank you to Dr Parchello and the entire team for taking care of my sweetie bean, Nova! It was her first time there and everyone was so accommodating . Dr Parchello got everything ready and good to go for my cat’s big move and was very willing and understanding of my anxiety with flying with my cat and her border inspection. She even took separate calls from me in regards to medication dosing and other travel prep. With her amazing advice my cat travelled very well and is now pictured enjoying her new cat tree in Rochester, NY! We noticed her dropping hard food and having difficulty eating, took her to this establishment and they were very patient and kind to our senior cat. She isn’t a huge fan of the vet but Dr Parchello was able to identify the problem, perform a fang extraction, and ensured prompt follow up appointments. Thanks to her Numan is back eating and enjoying her golden years. Thank you so much!

We can’t recommend this clinic and all the lovely staff enough! Dr Terri-Lynn Sipos is the vet for my three cats and this year she and Dr Erin performed two big surgeries on my two year old cat Henry after he broke both his femur heads in the space of 3 weeks. The support and care everyone showed for Henry and I through such a difficult time was second to none & something I will never forget. I am so grateful and Henry absolutely adores them too!
