Wade from Ultimate Insulation was a huge help when we were dealing with serious attic moisture and ventilation problems. We'd just bought our first home a few months earlier with two small kids, and finding these issues was really stressful - Wade was exactly who we needed. I could tell from our first phone call that he really knows his stuff. He specializes in tricky attic moisture problems and drove all the way from Regina to Saskatoon (over 2.5 hours each way) to do a proper inspection with thermal imaging. He found complex, hard-to-find condensation issues, major heat loss showing up as snow melt patterns on the roof, and moisture staining on the sheathing that had obviously been there for years. The thermal imaging showed temperature differences throughout the house that pointed to long-term ventilation and insulation failures. Wade was great at explaining all the technical stuff in a way that both my wife and I could understand - he's patient and genuinely a great guy to deal with. His detailed findings helped us realize we were dealing with problems that existed long before we bought the place. If you've got a complicated attic moisture issue that other contractors can't figure out, Wade's your guy. (I apologize for the delay in posting this review - life was incredibly chaotic during this whole remediation process, but Wade deserved this recognition long ago.)

We hired Ultimate insulation for insulation consulting and refortification of our roof to prevent further roof sag. Their staff were friendly and extremely flexible with appointments. Wade came for the initial inspection and provided a lot of information about past and current building codes and how our attic functions as a whole. He also provided a detailed report that gave us a lot of confidence for choosing to spray foam. In addition, Joel was their lead carpenter who came to refortify the roof. They finished the roof work on time and on budget. They were communicative, provided frequent updates, and explained a lot of the steps in the process. Overall, we had a great experience with them and are confident in their work.
