This place delivers exactly what it promises: a polished, dependable dining experience in a spacious and comfortable setting. The large dining area is well laid out, making the restaurant feel lively without being overwhelming. The food is solid across the board—good quality, well executed, but not particularly surprising. I ordered the prime rib sandwich, which stood out as a satisfying and well-prepared choice, rich in flavor and generously portioned. Service was friendly and attentive, adding to the overall enjoyment of the meal. While nothing here reinvents the steakhouse experience, it does everything right, making it a reliable option and one I’d happily return to

We came to Calgary for a long weekend and a comedy show. When we arrived, we were tired and hungry, fortunately for us, The Keg Steakhouse + Bar was next door to our hotel. We popped in for a late dinner. Our waitress was so sweet, very accommodating, friendly, and professional. We aren't huge appetier people but we were famished. Tuna Tartar was the selection. It was HUGE. Delicious and so enjoyable! I nearly ordered a second one for my dinner. The meal was absolutely wonderful. He did the Wedge + Chicken. I settled for the Blackened Chicken, we were not disappointed. The martinis were HUGE! They were made ICE COLD and served in a frosty glass... my favorite. We couldn't give higher praise to The Keg, they did a great job and we look forward to returning next time we are in Calgary!

We had dinner at The Keg and it was amazing! The steaks were absolutely delicious — perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The atmosphere was cozy and the service was great. We really enjoyed everything and would definitely come back again. Highly recommend!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It was my first time dining at The Keg, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! My wonderful colleagues and friends treat me with a birthday dinner, and everything from start to finish was just amazing. A big shoutout to our server, IFE — he is incredibly warm, attentive, and made our evening extra special with her exceptional service. The food was absolutely delicious — every dish we ordered was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Thank you, The Keg, for making my birthday celebration so memorable. I’ll definitely be back! 🎉🥩💖

Went on a Tuesday evening during the Calgary Stampede for dinner. I phoned first to make reservations and was given options for seating. I mentioned I wanted a quieter part of the restaurant and that we were a party of 6. When we arrived, the restaurant was packed and loud. And the hostess led us to our seats, we were very pleasantly surprised that they had available and given us a semi private half moon booth! Mo was our server for the evening and he did a great job with taking care of our dining needs. What a great experience for me as I hadn't eaten in a Keg restaurant in over 10 years. Had to order the prime rib and though some parts were a bit chewy, overall, I enjoyed the experience!
