I visited this restaurant hoping for a good steak, but left very disappointed. I ordered a well-done steak and beef barley soup. While the steak was cooked to my preference, it was full of gristle and mostly inedible. When I raised my concerns, the server dismissed them. I asked for a reduction on the bill, but the restaurant only deducted $10. In the end, I paid nearly $50 for an inedible steak and a small bowl of soup. Poor service and poor value. I will not be returning.

I had never been to Regina before so wasn’t sure where to go, found the Diplomat Steakhouse online and it lives up to the all the positive reviews! What a great place, they take their food, service and atmosphere very seriously. Great family owned business, the place had an awesome vibe and this is definitely my new go to when I’m in Regina. I would even travel back here just to go to the Diplomat again!

We had a party of 12 for a birthday and they gave us a great private size room. It feels like you’re in the study of the clue game. From the owner to the two sons this place is top notch on all levels fine dining. I will make two comments the drinks very well done and made. And the amazing part is the drinks are very very well priced. (Almost to cheap) The second is the level of service you feel like your family. I have not been at the diplomat for years as we moved away and they still treated me by my name and made me feel like I was someone very special. Thank you Diplomat and all staff for making my son’s birthday so deliciously memorable.

Absolutely outstanding experience at The Diplomat Steakhouse! I went with my wife and son, and every dish we ordered was exceptional — perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The interior is elegant and welcoming, creating just the right atmosphere for a family dinner or a special night out. The service was top-notch — attentive, professional, and genuinely friendly. One of the best dining experiences we’ve had.

Amazing staff and delicious food! First time to be at this restaurant, went there with hubby & our 5 year old girl. The atmosphere was very elegant, definitely a fine dining place. We made a reservation ahead of time & was there right at 4pm when they opened for dinner service. Our waitress, I think her name is Ashley was fantastic! For appetizer, we got the kobe carpaccio and it was 👌👌👌. Hubby got the filet mignon, it was initially a bit over to his liking and got replaced with perfection after we mentioned it. I got the red wine braised lamb shank & mmmmm it was heavenly! Little girl got the cheeseburger & fries and it was huge for a kid's menu! She did eat a good chunk of it. For dessert, we got the cherrries jubilee flambeed table side! It was all worth if for the price we paid.

The food tasted great. Our waiter (Jackson) demonstrated great customer service. The ambience was nice. Overall, it was a great experience.

Food is tasty. Price is great compared to the portions and service. I am glad that I come. Regret if I don't. Will come back if I visit again. Lots of choices on wine.
