Extremely pleased with Dr. Jody Bennett! Not only does she genuinely care about the animals, but she also tries to save you money and explain things as thoroughly as possible so that you understand diagnosis and conditions affecting your pet. Never felt rushed and she was super honest which is a rarity these days! She’s a cool cat with great staff! Only 4 days after seeing her, my doggo’s rash of almost 2 years cleared up! Definitely recommend this office and Dr. Bennett!

Terwillegar Veterinary Clinic has been incredible with my dog, Baloo, especially Erica and Sam. Baloo is a COVID dog and wasn’t well socialized, so he’s never been comfortable with strangers handling him. Before coming here, exams and procedures were a major problem because he didn’t want to be touched. Erica and Sam did it the right way. They took the time to build trust instead of forcing it. Baloo trusted Erica right away. It took a bit longer with Sam, but Sam stayed patient and consistent, and Baloo eventually relaxed around him too. Erica gave us clear, practical exercises to work on at home, including a chin-rest and calm, stationary positioning to make handling and needles easier. That training carried over directly to the clinic. By the end, Baloo was genuinely excited to see Erica and Sam, and he was able to get procedures done calmly, with no issues, which was unheard of for him before. If your dog is anxious, reactive, or doesn’t like being handled, I recommend Terwillegar Veterinary Clinic, and specifically Erica and Sam. If you follow the plan and stay patient, it works!

My cat swallowed elastic bands and I took him to Terwillegar Vet Clinic. Dr. Jody Bennett xrayed him and saw the bands in his stomach. It could have been devastating for my cat and family. Dr. Jody Bennett saved his life and my pocket book. She came up with different alternatives to remove the bands and the one she chose worked wonderfully. Jody is one of the most compassionate and friendly vets I have met. I would recommend Terwillegar Vet Clinic for your pets health. The front staff are friendly. Cheers!!

Despite the fact that our dog was not a patient, when Coffee needed help, Terwillegar Vet Clinic was there for him. Our 15 year old doodle was failing and our usual vet was too busy to help. A neighbour recommended we try Terwillegar and they saw us the same day. The compassion and professionalism we encountered made Coffee's passing so much easier. The room was equipped with low lights and a comfy mat on the floor for his final moments. Dr. Jody Bennett and her staff were kindness personified. We are deeply grateful.

I visited this vet for my first time with my puppy last week for her final set of shots. I will never go anywhere else!! Not only did my pup get her shots, but the vet spent 30+ minutes with me addressing all my present & future concerns, even emailed me training information after my appointment for further help. Also, my puppy who’s still very anxious absolutely came alive in there! If I could rate 6 stars I would!
