Masumi did a wonderful job with my hair (Asian black straight long hair), which hadn’t been cut or treated for over a year. I asked for bangs, and she nailed it with such delicate and thoughtful technique. The Korean-style styling afterward was lovely, even though I didn’t explain my expectations very clearly—it actually inspired my own go-to styling! I also really enjoyed the hair wash and scalp massage, warm and relaxed, another win point. This will definitely be my go-to salon in the long run. —— Monica

My daughter and I come to see Masumi for our haircuts, and we love her! She’s very meticulous with her technique, detail-oriented, and even gives great head massages. She also has excellent knowledge about hair health. She identified a possible cause of my damage and explained it clearly. She’s also sweet and giving! I highly recommend her!

I got a haircut from Hee Sun because my hair was so damaged from multiple color treatments. She gave me honest and helpful advice on what my hair needs to rejuvenate and how to avoid further damage. She’s very knowledgeable and sincere in her recommendations. I’ve already recommended my mom to get a cut with her, and I’ll definitely be back! :)

all the stars for tango salon & my stylist jenny as a hairstylist, i rarely get the chance to book with other stylists since my colleagues are always booked up! i was long overdue for a cut, having grown my hair out from a buzz cut over the past two years. i’m filipino with coarse, thick hair, and i really wanted someone who understood and could work with that texture. from the moment i sat in jenny’s chair, i felt completely at ease. i showed her a few inspiration photos and she absolutely nailed it. she gave me the best hair wash i’ve ever had, and executed a beautifully detailed cut and style — all in just 45 minutes. i’m pretty introverted and prefer quiet appointments, and she picked up on that without me needing to say anything. if you’re looking for a stylist who understands textured hair, nails layered looks, and makes you feel like you’re in expert hands the entire time — book with jenny. i’ll absolutely be back, and as a fellow stylist, i’m inspired by her artistry!
