I did an out of province car inspection here and they seemed thorough, they said I needed to fix one thing but were transparent about it and felt reasonable. It was good service here and up to standards, the fix they did actually made my car break better- it used to make a little bit of a sound when I break so I’m happy that is now a lot smoother as well. So the repair + inspection was reasonable and beneficial. Thank you.

I had a wonderful experience here and will be brining my car here for any future problems. I had a problem with my car battery draining and brought it here in the morning. They called and were able to diagnose the problem and quoted me $2600 to repair it. Not a small amount of money but necessary. About 10 minutes later they called me back and said they had done a little research and found that the problem would be covered by the car's extended warranty but the repairs would need to be done at a dealership. They had already found the next available appointment at the local dealership and told me to reach out to them to schedule the service and save me the $2600. Southwest Auto Service totally could have just done the repair and taken my business, but they went above and beyond to save me money even though it meant they would not get the work. As someone who doesn't know a lot about the mechanics of cars, it can be hard to know who to trust. I would absolutely trust Southwest Auto Service to do the right thing and will be coming here first for any issues I have in the future. They didn't even ask for a Google review, I'm just writing this because I was that impressed.

Great experience. We brought our 2018 ford edge in. We got a fair amount of work done. They kept me up to date on the process and pricing. They got me the car back a day earlier then they told me which was a pleasant surprise. Booked an appointment for my other car right away. 5/5

I went to Southwest Auto Service (Calgary) for an Out-of-Province Inspection. First time they failed my car for shocks, brakes, and tire size. I fixed everything and came back. Second time they said the right rear caliper was sticking and tires had small cracks — fair enough. But they also failed me for a tiny dot on the fog light that doesn’t affect safety at all. After that I went to another random shop, and my car passed without any problem. They’re way too picky and waste your time. Not recommended.
