Dr. Charlie was amazing with my cats. I’ve honestly never seen them so calm and relaxed at a vet visit before. It almost felt like he had some kind of magic with animals — they were peaceful, cooperative, and even seemed happy. You can immediately see how gentle and experienced he is with pets. I’m very grateful for the care he gave them and would absolutely recommend Dr. Charlie and this animal hospital.

Highly recommend this pet hospital! The staff is so friendly and supportive..Dr. Charlie is awesome..very gentle and caring…and he takes the time to explain and answer your questions. An excellent choice for your pet care.

Southside Pet Hospital – Highly Recommended! After a few not-so-great vet experiences over the years, we were very anxious about choosing the right veterinarian when we brought our new puppy home in Spring 2025. We wanted a fresh start and a team we could truly trust — and we found exactly that with Southside Pet Hospital here in Kelowna. Dr. Charlie and his entire team have been absolutely wonderful. They seem to operate more like a smaller, family-run clinic with genuine hands-on care and attention. They’ve taken such amazing care of our little Charlee — from helping navigate her very complicated International travel paperwork for France, to performing her EKG for her heart murmur, and most recently her spay and dental procedure. As a very nervous dog mama, I can honestly say they made me feel completely at ease every step of the way. Their communication, compassion, and patience have meant the world to us, and we always feel like our puppy is in the best hands possible. We couldn’t be more grateful, and we highly recommend Southside Pet Hospital to anyone looking for a caring, trustworthy veterinary team. 🙌😁

Amazing vet clinic! The staff were very kind and attentive. Dr.Charlie explained everything in detail so we were able to understand what was going on with our dog. I would highly recommend taking your furry friends here!

Excellent and friendly staff. Dr Charlie is an excellent Vet!! The office is clean, and treatment options are clearly relayed. You can really see the care given to your pet.
