I’ve been seeing Chauntay at SKN Med Spa since the fall of 2024 just before my wedding, and I’ve continued with monthly treatments with her ever since. One of the things I really appreciate about SKN Med Spa is their focus on doing what’s truly best for your skin. They take a preventative, thoughtful, and least-invasive/best result approach while catering treatments to your individual skin needs to help you achieve the healthy skin you’re dreaming of.
My treatment plan specifically has focused on hydration, rejuvenation, reducing redness, and addressing mild acne through facials, peels, and dermaplaning. I also plan to include laser genesis therapy in my upcoming routine this fall that's offered by Skn Med Spa. Chauntay is always incredibly knowledgeable and gives the best advice when it comes to both treatments and my skincare regimen.
I highly recommend booking a consultation if you’re looking to take your skincare to the next level. And remembering that consistency really is key when it comes to maintaining beautiful, healthy skin 🤍

Don't bother, it's just a waste of money.
I got a chemical peel and I had no single result. I did not peel and my face got worse.
When I called, I was told it was just to activate the skin, if you knew u were activating my skin why charge me as though you were giving me the right chemical peel?
It's sad that all these people want is for you to keep coming back and filling their pockets.

I booked this facial after calling the clinic to confirm that mechanical extractions were included. We also discussed extractions again before starting.
No proper extractions were done — closed comedones were not removed, and I was told a serum would help instead. The appointment ended earlier than the advertised 60 minutes.
For $150, this felt overpriced for Saskatoon and more like a basic facial, not a deep cleansing treatment.
I’m attaching a photo showing the condition of my skin right after the appointment.

Shereen is such a wonderful owner and a genuinely kind soul. She helped my daughter with scars she had been self-conscious about, and my daughter is so much happier and more confident. That in turn makes me so happy as a parent. We couldn’t be more grateful!

I had an appointment that was booked weeks in advance. Upon arrival, I was taken to the treatment room and seated, only to be told at that point that I needed to complete a new intake form. I agreed and began filling it out, but was then directed to the final section, which unexpectedly required entry of a credit card. In the fine print, it stated—without prior notice—that 50% of a missed appointment would be charged.
I declined to input my credit card information for two key reasons:
1. I do not feel comfortable entrusting credit card details to an establishment where there is no clear policy or transparency regarding how such information is stored or handled, especially considering that spas open and close frequently.
2. There is no clarification on what constitutes a "missed appointment" or how much notice is required, effectively leaving the discretion entirely with the business.
Despite this, I requested to proceed and bypass it, given I had already arrived, adjusted my schedule, and was sitting in the treatment room on the chair. The staff consulted with the owner and informed me that unless I entered my credit card, the appointment could not proceed.
This approach is not only unprofessional but also highly unethical—particularly for a returning client who had already confirmed the booking. The credit card authorization was embedded in what appeared to be a Credit Card Billing form and I was told its an intake form (an intake form without any health questions on there but simply address). A sneaky way to take your credit card information that what I saw on both pages.
If this was a required form, it should have been communicated well in advance per procedure. I second guessed myself and checked my emails as well and no there was no request for any new form. It was just a credit card / billing information gathering form.
I reiterated that I had adjusted my schedule to be present for the appointment and was already in the treatment room. I asked if we could simply proceed without that particular requirement, as it didn’t make sense why such fragile info is needed here. The nurse responded by saying, “It’s your concern that you changed your schedule,” which I found dismissive and unprofessional.
This experience reflects poorly on both the establishment's customer service standards and ethical practices. In a competitive industry where service and trust are paramount, this kind of treatment toward a repeat client is abhorrent.
