We genuinely cannot say enough amazing things about Shari and Mike. Hiring them as our wedding photographers was one of the best decisions we made. They made us feel so comfortable throughout the day, our families and friends loved their presence. Their professionalism, creativity, and calm energy were exactly what we needed. They seamlessly integrated into our group and felt like another one of our friends. They captured every moment so beautifully. Their attention to detail is unreal. Looking through our sneak peek gallery feels like we’re reliving the entire day, with all the joy, laughter, and love shining through in every photo. We rarely get to spend time with all of our loved ones, and they captured each and every person so thoughtfully. Shari and Mike are the best and we will treasure their work forever. Quite possibly the best decision we made in our wedding planning was hiring Shari + Mike. You're not only going to get amazing photos (and you will get mind blowingly awesome photos), you're also getting two very cool people who genuinely want to make your day a little more special. From our first meeting, it was apparent that they care deeply about their couples. We touched base multiple times to ensure they understood who we were and what our priorities were for our wedding day. They very thoughtfully layered into our ideas and timeline, quietly refining and improving things based on their vast expertise. One of our favourite moments was sneaking away for sunset portraits, which we only added into the schedule based on their recommendation. And their thoughtfulness continued through our wedding day. They showed up as we were getting ready and quickly made the entire wedding party feel at ease. We cannot overemphasize what an excellent job they did making everyone feel comfortable and relaxed, which made taking photos just that much easier. By the time we got to family portraits, they felt like old friends. In fact, several wedding guests commented that it was so great we had friends who were photographers. And this is part of the amazing thing about Shari + Mike, they simultaneously fit in perfectly and are also unnoticable. We had multiple guests ask us why we didn't have the photographers at our ceremony because they are so skilled at getting amazing shots while also being entirely unobtrusive. When we got our wedding album, there were so many moments that we were shocked they captured, which resulted in these intimate and deeply personal photos that brought tears to our eyes. In fact, they managed to surprise us with a photo of myself (the bride) and my dad, which is my dad's all time favourite photo (and if anyone mentions weddings around him, he immediately pulls out his phone to ask them if they have ever seen a wedding photo as good as this one) The care Shari + Mike put towards their craft is something special. Our wedding album is a work of art - our review process was basically just us saying oh this has to be my favourite photo and then going to the next photo and saying no, this one is my favourite. They did an amazing joy not just capturing images but capturing the feeling and joy of the day. Shari + Mike captured the big moments but also the quiet moments, the thoughtful touches, and the parts of the wedding that were special to us. What's really unique is that we had them for two events (a traditional western wedding and a Chinese banquet) and they managed to make the photos from each event feel special to the different experiences and vibes. We truly cannot say enough positive things about our wedding photos + the full experience of working with Shari + Mike. If you want wedding photos that you will love, hire them!

10000000 stars. Shari and Mike were the most INCREDIBLE duo to work with for our wedding. From the very beginning, they showed so much enthusiasm and support - as a queer couple it was important to know that our vendors were on board with helping us create a safe space for us and our friends to celebrate and Shari and Mike went above and beyond in this regard. Shari and Mike are LGBTQ allies through and through and it meant the world to us to have them there with us to capture our special day. They brought so much joy (you won’t believe the tricks they pull out to get restless children to smile and pose for photos haha). They captured so many candid moments, made the posed photos feel natural and fun, and kept track of our timeline seamlessly - our wedding planner’s dream. :) Forever grateful for these two and the photos we now get to keep to remind us of the perfect day we had with our loved ones.

Shari and Mike are amazing. They made us feel so comfortable during our entire wedding. They also helped managed the chaos of my large family during our family photos. They were always there but not in a way that felt too much. Our photos are unbelievable. They are the best at capturing all the feelings and emotions of our wedding as well as all the little moments we missed. We can’t wait to do an anniversary shoot with them. 1000000% worth it. Best wedding decision we made.

Hiring Shari and Mike to document our wedding was one of the best decisions my husband and I made. Having beautiful photos for years was a top priority, so we thought about who to hire for a very long time and we are so happy we ended up with Shari and Mike. They were so worth it! Shari and Mike are a pleasure to work with, and met up with us in person over beers to see if we clicked. (We did - it felt like we were hiring friends). They are complete magicians with interesting angles and using light and shadows to their advantage, and we loved this artistic aspect to their photos. On the day of the wedding, Mike and Shari were a joy to spend time with. They handled minor scheduling snafus like pros and communicated with our wedding planner the entire day, so we felt like we were just floating around and experiencing every moment without worry, and we think the photos show how present with each other and grounded we felt. The wedding photos we received felt timeless, and they documented our story in ways we couldn't have imagined. Half of the candid photos we didn't even realize at the time they were taking! Their exceptional talent meant they could handle all manners of lighting. Plus... we got the bonus of seeing Mike work his magic on the dancefloor, which got our guests into the mood to dance the night away :)
