My hair is very curly (2C/ 3A) but now it's completely straight because the Japanese hair straightening worked so well! I don't worry about wash days for my hair anymore and the texture of my hair has completely changed. I used to have an extreme problem with frizz but not anymore; I need very little product now and I can just brush it and go! The team at Sets on Corydon is very professional and the Japanese hair straightening is one of a kind, I've never found anything else like it at other salons!

I got Japanese hair straightening done from Manjot and James they were so good during the whole process I love their service.Manjot is very nice and guided me through the whole process. Thanks to her I would definitely recommend them best place to get your hairs done. Five star service so happy with the service

I wouldn’t recommend Sets on Corydon to anyone who cares for healthy and safe hair treatments. I had a Japanese straightening treatment done at the salon by James and it was a disaster. I have never experienced such damage in my life due to any treatment. I have used multiple relaxing treatments before which were effective but never lasted beyond the 4 weeks mark so I decided to try the Japanese straightening treatment based on the recommendation of a friend. The treatment left my hair gummy and extremely stretchy and fragile. I thought this was only initially but found out that my hair would be the same every time it gets wet. So even simple sweat can cause severe damage because the hair becomes extremely fragile when it gets wet. Also, my scalp has been so sensitive after this treatment due to the harsh chemicals. Unfortunately, even though James seemed truly nice, but he wasn’t professional enough to suggest a strand test before fully applying the treatment to my hair. I even told him that I used another milder treatment recently, which he said it doesn’t work and his does. I also mentioned to him that I have so much grey and I dye my hair regularly which makes it overly processed. I regret doing this treatment and hope my hair recovers in the next weeks with cautious management.

I have extremely thick tight curly hair and usually wear it straight. It takes me hours every week to maintain and knew I needed some kind of treatment. I’ve never done anything to my hair before and wanted it smooth and straight and that’s exactly what James gave me. Highly recommend the keratin smoothing treatment and rebonding it was life changing!
