Connie was our server when my friend and I came in for dinner, and she did a lovely job taking care of us. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Our orders were taken smoothly, and the service felt comfortable and welcoming. We appreciated her kindness and professionalism. Thank you, Connie, for making our dinner experience a pleasant one!

We have been to Saltlik many times for large group events (25-30 people), and have always had an amazing time, with exceptional food and service. They have a wonderful space downstairs that accommodates large groups, which also features a pool table and lounge area with a private bar. There is also a large space on the upper floor which also features comfortable seating, lots of table space and a large bar area. On our most recent visit, we booked Saltlik for a birthday dinner with four friends. We booked the dinner for a Saturday evening at 7 p.m., and the atmosphere was lively and energetic, yet still felt intimate and refined. We were sat at our table right away, and our waitress was very welcoming and attentive. We started off the evening with cocktails (sangria and old fashioned), which arrived quickly and were beautifully presented. The flavour of the old fashioned was excellent, with just a slight bit of sweetness and a nice finish. Our friend also thoroughly enjoyed the sangria, made with a blend of red and white wines. For appetizers, we chose french onion soup and calamari. The French onion soup was served in beautiful elegant bowls, piping hot, absolutely loaded with croutons and onions, and an incredibly thick layer of cheese on the top. The broth was rich and flavourful, loaded with incredible flavours. The cheese pull was oh-so-satisfying! The calamari was lighted breaded and crisp, with a very generous portion. The dipping sauce was also nice and flavourful; a perfect way to begin the meal. Our table ordered a lovely cab-sauv to share for dinner, which was a perfect accompaniment to the delectable steaks we chose for our main course. Each one was perfectly cooked to order, with a generous slab of seasoned butter, creamy and delicious mashed potatoes, and perfectly crisp yet tender Brussels sprouts, finished with a light and slightly sweet swirl of (very addictive!) glaze on the plate. Gorgeous and delicious - what more could you ask for! There are a number of additional accompaniment you can choose, and we opted for sauteed mushrooms which were rich and delicious. We all finished every single bite! To cap off the wonderful meal, we ordered an assortment of lattes and Spanish coffees. We were happy to find out that they offered decaf and milk alternatives. We also ordered the sticky toffee pudding and molten chocolate cake. We didn't think anything could top the dinner, but we were wrong! The desserts were beautifully plated, generous portions, and oh so warm, rich and delicious. It was everything you could possibly want in a dessert. I can't recommend Saltlik enough for a wonderful, upscale meal in an intimate and comfortable setting, with exceptional service and wonderful energy all around.

We went with friends for a Valentine’s dinner and had a 15/10 experience from the moment we walked through the door. Between the four of us we ordered several different dishes and drinks (only some we took photos of). Every dish we had was really well done, there were no bad dishes and we all had more than one favourite. The carpaccio, cheddar biscuits, calamari, and the mushroom salad were all highs for our starters. All of the steaks ordered were cooked to perfection and we loved the Brussels sprouts sides. I had the only non steak main which was the short rib. It was so tender and succulent it melted in my mouth, and the sauce was ridiculously good. We finished with the sticky toffee pudding (divine), molten chocolate cake (heavenly) and the apple pie (delicious). We had incredible service all night. When we walked through the door we were greeted warmly and genuinely. They took our coats for us when we got to our table, which is a small gesture but it is so nice to be able to sit comfortably. Vic and Chan took amazing care of us. Vic was our main server, she got our drinks going right away and made sure every part of our meal was perfect. All the wait staff that came by the table were friendly and attentive but not overbearing. For a busy night there wasn’t one time we felt forgotten, or rushed. Every interaction we had with all the staff felt genuine, like we were guests in their home not patrons at a restaurant. Thank you to everyone at Saltlik tonight you made it such a wonderful occasion for us.

I visited Salt Lick in Calgary Mission today and had such a great time. The ambiance is warm, stylish, and instantly welcoming; the kind of place you feel good walking into. We ordered the sirloin steak, pork chop, beef carpaccio, and calamari, and everything was delicious. The food came out surprisingly fast, and the quality didn’t miss a beat. The steak was cooked perfectly, and when I asked for extra vegetables, the team happily accommodated the request without any hesitation. That little extra effort really made my day. Great food, great service, and a great vibe. I left genuinely impressed and excited to come back.
