I just want to say how absolutely thankful I am for your team this afternoon. My daughters bearded dragon got injured and you guys took good care of him. My daughter is very sad that she had to say goodbye to her best friend. He was right by her side for 5 years. She recently had her graduation photos done with him in them, sporting a tie of course. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for taking care of Hank in his final moments. RIP Hank ♥️

We cannot adequately express how grateful we are to Rose Valley Veterinary Hospital, Dr. Oz, and Dr. Bailie Ericson for saving our nine-month-old dachshund, Mateo’s, life.
Mateo’s case was extremely complex and unlike anything they had encountered before. Dr. Oz and Dr. Ericson were transparent about the seriousness and risks involved with proceeding with emergency surgery. Due to flooded roads, we were unable to travel to Vancouver, and no other surgical options were available. Despite knowing how high-risk the procedure was, they made the courageous decision to move forward because it was the only chance Mateo had.
They spent hours in surgery removing over 100 struvite stones Even when unexpected complications arose, they remained fully committed to doing everything possible to ensure Mateo survived. Their dedication, skill, and perseverance resulted in an outcome we will forever be thankful for. Mateo was able to come home the same day and is now recovering incredibly well.
That day was one of the most emotionally overwhelming experiences our family has ever faced. Mateo is our world, and we were absolutely devastated by the uncertainty surrounding his condition. Throughout the entire process, the care team showed not only exceptional medical expertise, but genuine compassion. They took the time to explain everything clearly, reassure us and support us when we were barely holding it together.
We waited to write this review because it felt impossible to find words strong enough to express our gratitude. Dr. Oz and Dr. Ericson gave Mateo a future, and Rose Valley Veterinary Hospital gave our family hope when we needed it most. This is a team we will always trust and be thankful for.
Barb and Rand and Shayla.

Dr. Oz and the rest of the office are absolutely amazing!
We've been struggling with my dog's eyes for years, got so many different opinions and medications to try to help her tear production increase. We saw Dr.oz and in just a month her eyes have never looked better! He truly cares for the animal, and the owner. I've never been happier with a vet! Thank you all for your amazing work! ❤️

A Compassionate Farewell to My Sweet Nuggie – Deep Gratitude to the Entire Veterinary Team
Saying goodbye to a beloved pet is one of the hardest and most heartbreaking experiences. When it came time to make that decision for my sweet cat, Nuggie, I was filled with pain, guilt, and so much grief. But from the moment I arrived at the clinic, I was surrounded by kindness, compassion, and genuine care. The entire team helped me through one of the most difficult days of my life, and I will always be deeply grateful for the way they supported both Nuggie and me.
I was guided to a private, quiet room away from the rest of the clinic — a peaceful space that allowed me time to be alone with Nuggie. There was no pressure, no rush — just gentle understanding. I was able to hold her, talk to her, and sit with her in those final, sacred moments. The calm environment gave me the chance to say goodbye on my own terms, with dignity and love.
Before the procedure, one of the staff members and vet sat with me and clearly explained everything that would happen. They spoke softly and with such care, describing each step while reassuring me and validating the emotions I was experiencing. I was struggling with guilt over making this decision, even though I knew it was the right one to end her suffering. They took the time to talk me through it, reminding me that this choice came from love, not selfishness. That conversation helped me begin to find peace in the most impossible moment.
They also gently explained the cremation services available, including the different types of urns and options if I chose to go that route — which I did. There was never any pressure, just thoughtful guidance that helped me make informed decisions during a very emotional time.
Afterward, they gave me beautiful keepsakes that I will treasure forever. They created a complimentary clay paw print as well as five delicate ink prints of Nuggie's paws and nose. They even saved some of her fur and placed it into two small glass vials. These thoughtful gestures brought unexpected comfort, offering something tangible to hold onto as I processed my grief.
In the days that followed, I received a phone call from the clinic — just to check in and ask how I was doing. That simple gesture meant the world to me. Not long after, a sympathy card arrived in the mail, signed by the entire team with heartfelt messages. It wasn’t just a formality — it was sincere and touching. They truly cared, not just about Nuggie, but about me as well.
This team doesn’t just do their job — they walk alongside you in one of life’s most painful moments with grace, patience, and genuine compassion. They honored Nuggie’s life and offered me the kind of emotional support I didn’t even know I needed. I cannot thank them enough for helping us through her final moments with such dignity and love.
If you are ever in the heartbreaking position of saying goodbye to a beloved pet, I sincerely hope you find a team like this. Their kindness made all the difference, and I will never forget how gently they helped me and Nuggie through our goodbye.
With heartfelt thanks,
Hannah Werrell

My dog needed serious physical surgery and she received it here. I feel confident that I received honest, professional and knowledgeable info about the surgery. An extra large tumor made it necessary to remove a rear leg. It's been a few days and everything is going great. Obvious skill, talent and commitment from the whole team. The time spent in phone calls and speaking with the front desk was always pleasant and accommodating. Follow ups have been booked and I am so relieved.
You don't have to question Rose Valley Vet's desire to take care of your pet and you. Lastly, I find the pricing to be very fair and I've had other dogs that needed tumors removed in the past.
