Went here for Japanese hair straightening. I have wavy/curly/frizzy hair that has been unmanageable my entire life. After doing a lot of research, I found that this salon had the best reviews. He has been a hair stylist for 40 years, and said he has been doing this process for 20 years. It's clear he knows what he's doing. My hair is so smooth and straight! Also, I should clarify that my hair was quite damaged prior to this process. I have been straightening it for years and so much of my hair has broken. But after getting this done it feels so healthy.

He genuinely took his time to perfect everything. I have damaged bleached hair and after the straightening my hair is way softer and shinier. I also got a haircut and he made sure every single strand is cut evenly. It is expensive but worth the service. At first I was scared of the bad reviews but he’s turned out to be sweet person.

I always do hair rebonding in my country, but none in Edmonton because I never knew there’s Roman Purple that specifically do hair rebonding and cut. He only do appointment. No walk in, and no children hair cut. Roman is nice, and my hair is very straight now as well as smooth & shiny. Quality workmanship. My hair type is southeast Asian hair, straight with a bit wavy at the bottom.

I had Japanese hair straightening for the first time, and my hair feels amazing! Roman was knowledgeable and friendly, taking the time to understand my hair history, including past bleaching/ highlights/hair botox. He kept me well-informed throughout the entire process, which made the experience even better.

Had great experience getting my hair permanently straightened with Roman! He made sure to find out everything about my hair and its chemical history (which was a lot) and carefully made sure that there was as little damage as possible. Even though I have some grown out bleached areas, my hair is still looking and feeling great. The salon is comfortable, spacious, and clean!
