Now I tell you what. Between friends, kids, dogs, and an oil cap explosion as well as all the amount of time spent on the road in this vehicle. I am ASTOUNDED... On how GOOD and PRECISE these guys were at getting my SUV brand new and clean again!! They were so thoughtful and thorough and even found a few items I thought I had lost months prior! From the deepest part of my heart I can't thank these guys enough for the job well done, the dogs, friends, and kids in all parts of my life also thank you! 10/10 would recommend to everybody I know! Such a friendly crew 🥰 Thank you thank you thank you!!

Deceptive Tactics! On July 16, 2025, I visited Richard's Auto Detail & Glass Tint in Yorkton for a window tinting appointment, quoted at $309 plus tax for what I believed would be a high-quality ceramic tint for my vehicle. In multiple emails and a phone call, the shop repeatedly assured me they would use “Edge Crystal Ceramic” tint, emphasizing it was a premium ceramic product and claiming a competitor’s ceramic tint (MADICO Black Pearl) might turn purple, suggesting their product was superior. However, having thoroughly researched tint specifications, I discovered that “Edge Crystal Ceramic” is not a real product, raising serious concerns about their honesty.At my 8:00 a.m. appointment, I caught them preparing to install Edge Carbon Crystalline—a lower-quality, non-ceramic film with inferior heat rejection—instead of the promised ceramic tint. Suspiciously, before I could closely inspect the material, staff offered to give me a ride, which felt like an attempt to prevent verification. When I confronted the installer, explaining that the Carbon Crystalline was not a ceramic tint and was inferior, he fully agreed, admitting the film’s lower quality. Prior to the appointment, I had emailed the shop requesting TSER, IR rejection, VLT, and warranty details for the so-called “Edge Crystal Ceramic” tint, seeking clarification on the product. They never responded.After I rejected the incorrect tint and left without paying or having any work done, I received a follow-up email apologizing for missing my request for specs but offering no explanation for attempting to install a non-ceramic film or claiming to use a non-existent “Edge Crystal Ceramic” product. This bait-and-switch, coupled with their fabricated product name and failure to address the deception, points to blatantly dishonest practices. I strongly urge others to avoid Richard's Auto Detail & Glass Tint and choose a provider that values transparency, honesty, and real products. Thanks to my research, I avoided this scam, but no customer should have to uncover a business’s falsehoods to ensure they deliver what was promised. *** follow up to the owners response *** I did not reach out to their supplier whatsoever in regards to this issue. I had contacted the supplier in regards to the specs that were offered on the products seemingly being offered by this company. It just so happened that he phoned me 10 minutes after I got home from the shady business practice I avoided. I have also stated in my review previous, that I didn't purchase the product, nor did I insinuate that I did. I simply caught them trying to install an inferior carbon-based tint, after I had specifically been told it was a ceramic tint. The fact that I received no apology on site, and in fact was told that I could go to Saskatoon or Regina if I wanted to get my vehicle done, shows me that this company is set to basically tell the city of Yorkton "buy our inferior product, forget that we tell you it's ceramic, or go to another city". That is unacceptable with any good business practice, and I think that they exploit this fact in order to upsell an inferior product, and dupe their customers into thinking they are buying something that they aren't. Considering this company is reading the review, be forewarned that a complaint has been made to the FCAA and I'm pretty sure they will be in touch soon. If this company would have been open and transparent as to what product they were actually offering, and actually had the people knowledgeable enough to describe the product they were installing, they wouldn't have wasted 2 hours out of my day, only to find out that they are trying to deceive me and what they are installing on my vehicle. I suggest anyone that got their windows tinted here, get it professionally checked by a reputable dealer. If you were told you were getting a ceramic tint on your vehicle, file a complaint to the fcaa. Any reputable dealer would be able to tell you the difference between tints. Of course they won't respond publicly anymore because they won't even respond privately

Their most expensive clean left my truck streaky and still has mud on my rear bumper and rims. When I brought this to the attention of the owner he said it was “good enough” for him. Worst customer service and clearly won’t stand behind what their selling.
