I purchased a new Mustang Mach E and had Chris’ team install an EV charger on the exterior of my home. This was the second time they have been to my home (the first was to wire in a new heat pump). The installers, Jared and Ron were on time, professional, and extremely thorough in their detail to the job at hand. As a Leasing Specialist and Building Manager for a Property Management company, I deal with subcontractors on a daily basis, and Onyx has exceeded my expectations in regards to professionalism and quality. Chris and his team (Paul and Zane) stepped in when another electrician dropped the ball. Their professionalism and easy to work with make us wish they were on the job from the start. Chris from Onyx provided us with prompt and quick communication from initial inquiry through pricing and scheduling making the electrical upgrade and installation of an EV charger in our home an easy process. Our home has a 125 amp which meant that we needed a demand controller to allow for a level two charger, Chris explained the reasoning behind this equipment as well as the technical understanding of how it functions further justifying the additional equipment required to complete the install of our level two EV charger. I would highly recommend Chris to anyone who is looking for electrical support specifically related to anything EV charging.

Excellent experience! Got Chris to install a new service and electrical panel wire pot lights, plugs, and switches in my basement for a suite. Everything looks great and works well and he handled everything when the wholesaler originally gave me the wrong panel.
