Had new bathtub doors installed. Asked for someone with experience doing this. Look at the high quality work. AND to top it off, the guy installed the opening on what I consider the wrong end of the tub. It’s nearly impossible to reach the taps. After contacting the manufacturer, they stated the instructions indicate they could be installed with the opening on the side by the tap or the side opposite the tap. We weren’t given an option. The guy installed them by looking at the picture on the box. We had this work done in Dec 2024. And YES this was seriously the finished product.

I wish I could actually comment on the work Nickle provided but I can’t. I CAN comment on their follow up on enquires. I picked Nickle because of their history and they are in my neighborhood. I personally visited their office in early May to ask about installing a wall furnace in my back room. I brought in photos and specifically asked if they could do this type of work. The receptionist took my contact info and said they would be in touch about an estimate. Two months later: nothing. I went back to their office and the receptionist said someone would call the next morning. Two weeks later: still nothing. I went to another firm (I won’t identify as I don’t want to look like I’m shilling for anyone) and they had someone out the same day. They did the work a week later and did a great job. I wrote a letter to the president of Nickle and hand delivered it. I was polite and respectful at all times but wanted to know what happened. A month later: still nothing So If you are looking for a wall of utter indifference, Nickle Plumbing and Heating is your one-stop shop in my experience.

Called in as I broke the line on my mini split. We needed it fixed quick and these guys were awesome. Brad the Tech that came out was awesome and had everything figured really quick. He was professional polite and down to earth. Not too often you find a Tech who pretty much knows all the aspects and was awesome enough to explain what he was doing. From now on Nickel plumbing is the call and Brad is the Tech to get. Thx guys u were a lifesaver!!

We had an issue with the furnace at our rental property, we called nickel. The man we talked initially was very nice, he said a service call(overtime)was $142.50. He was there for an hour and a bit diagnosed our problem and said we’d have to fix the furnace. We called him twice more during daylight hours, which is supposed to be $95 a call. He turned hot water back on for our tenant and left. The quote to fix our unit was too expensive so we went elsewhere. A month later we get an invoice for $870. So I called and said there must be some mistake, to which the manager said oh yea there is and brought us down to $670! The guy was there for 20 minute s the two last calls. This place is dishonest and the lady at the phone was quite disrespectful. Everybody who calls these guys better know you’re paying almost $100 an hour and that time starts from when they get the call to whenever the plumber feels like clocking out. They took advantage of the fact we weren’t there personally to oversee. Very dishonest and disrespectful!
