Clean Work and Courteous Technician, but Cost vs. Outcome Felt Off The technician was professional and courteous, and the water pressure issue was ultimately resolved. They were extremely good with site clean up. They did add complimentary check up for all washrooms themselves which I never seen with local plumbers so extra point for it. They also retag all the equipment in furnace room for me. I feel its a great way to improve customer satisfaction. However, the root cause turned out to be the water softener, and the issue was fixed by bypassing it. This should have been the first diagnostic step. As I told the technician when he arrived, city asked me to check it when I called them for water pressure issue. Instead, the PRV was opened and replaced even though it was not the confirmed cause and was replaced mainly due to age.As, they never showed me if they can try changing pressure from old PRV. When I asked if the old PRV could be reinstalled, I was told it had failed, which left me with little practical choice but to proceed. The total charge was $1,398 for diagnosis and PRV replacement, with about 2 hours of labour, which felt high given that a simpler step resolved the issue. While the work was completed professionally, clearer diagnostic sequencing, transparency around necessity, and real options for the customer would greatly improve the experience. I will add one more thing , they did excellent job in following up after the job and take my feedback.

Mr Mike’s sent Jeremy Beach out to install a water softener. Jeremy was amazing! A true tradesman in all respects. He was extremely knowledgeable and personable, knew what was required, had all the equipment, and was professional and meticulous to a fault. He genuinely takes pride in his work. Rates are very reasonable with various options discussed. I very much recommend this company and, of course, Jeremy!
