I had never been to physio before and was honestly a little skeptical, but Joel has made me a believer. He quickly diagnosed my problem while providing easy to follow explanations the entire time, yanked my foot back into place, and sent me on my way taped up and armed with rehabilitation exercises. The office itself is clean, thoughtfully designed, and has very soft lighting throughout (which is always appreciated). There is plenty of free parking in the lot outside of the building. I can absolutely recommend MotionWorx and Joel in particular - there’s a reason every reviewer on Google raves about him!

Joel was great. Helped me get back up and walking after fracturing my calcaneus (heel) and medial malleolus (ankle) on 9/30/25 Surgery -10/05/25. Full weight bearing on foot -12/28/25 and back to work 1-08-26.

I was really impressed with Joel's approach and in-depth knowledge. He took the time to explain why the pain was occuring, and what we need to focus on in the coming weeks to see improvement. Down-to-earth in terms of assessment approach and exercises, and aims to get you moving again as quickly as is safely possible.

For years I have suffered from shoulder, neck and mobility issues until a couple friends recommended Joel. He takes into consideration if you’re under the care of other practitioners and checked out my strength and range of various muscles. He gave me exercises to stretch, maintain and strengthen my progress as I reintroduced activities. It’s one thing to find relief but if want to take it to the next level and you’re willing to put in the effort, Joel is definitely the physiotherapist to try because he knows what needs to be done to get you moving again.

I've seen Ingrid for my back injury and received the IMS treatment for it. She was very knowledgeable and prepared me for what to expect. She is friendly, caring, very accomodating and supportive in her approach. I definitely improved and had a great experience. Would recommend this clinic to anyone needing care. Aside from the great care, the clinic is gorgeous. The space has a unique artsy vibe, not what you'd expect from a clinical setting.
