Well I will make everyone aware, as I do take business recommendations seriously. And I like to make others aware if they’re questioning going to a certain place. I went to mm nail today. My appointment was at 9am. I thought I booked it with one specific lady as some recommended, although my feet were done by someone else without asking me. Within 1-2 hours of my pedicure appointment my whole fake toe nail came off. I received every excuse in the book. They know I leave for a flight tomorrow. It’s a 40 minute drive one way. I said I’m sorry that’s not possible. The owner said to go somewhere close to home, I AGREED. She will not refund my $56 pedicure, yet it’s costing me a full pedicure price tomorrow (early morning 2 minutes from me). For a new nail, shellac removal and new red shellac (as they didn’t have the exact colour hue). The owner of mm nails is only wanting to refund me $7. And I explained to her the break down of Amber Nails, and how they charge. I told her how she charged me extra $5 for shellac removal, extra $5 for nail foot fill, etc. (So I guess only other nail salons don’t do add ons, just hers) 🤷🏼‍♀️. I was very kind, trying to find a solution. For shellac white tip medium length nails (no other designs) and plain nails coming in, and a pedicure with no growth (wasn’t even done three weeks ago) but had shellac on them it was $144. Apparently the pedicure was 30% off. I also tipped $20 ontop of that. This was on Burrows street. I’ve been getting my nails done for over a decade. I know what happened. The acrylic wasn’t dried, and then my foot was put back in water. So moisture was still present and made the nail soft and popped off. Here’s a photo. *btw that’s dirt, not fungus. I checked. ✔️ To the next salon. And I will treat the new salon with the exact same respect and kindness. My toenail should last a couple hours.

After all the good reviews and recommendations I was very disappointed. My first time getting nail extensions here and Mary got mad that I changed my mind on the nail shape after she filed one single tip. After that she was very rough and even nicked me without so much as an apology. The nails are sloppy and uneven, and the tips weren’t glued on properly leaving a huge gap between the tips and my natural nails, and she filed down my own nails so much that it was painful. Maybe they would have been better if she wasn’t distracted with her children and phone, or getting up to go do something else every few minutes. The only good thing about this place was Tanisha who did my pedicure. She was very kind and gentle. I would get a pedicure from her again if it weren’t at this nail place. Yes it can be cheaper than other places but it’s better to get your nails done by anyone else other than Mary.

My sister recommended this place and today was my first time going. Super friendly staff and amazing atmosphere. I showed a picture of what I wanted and she made it even better! I wanted My nails shorter for My job and she made them the perfect length.(All 10 nails are even in length other places have never achieved this for me) 10 out 10 recommend! Will definitely be making this My go to place :)

10/10...Highly recommend getting your nails done here. Friendly staff, quick, and has affordable prices. She's the best nail tech I've ever been to. She's absolutely amazing at what she does and I will be sticking with her services from now on.

Me and my 2 girls went there. She accommodated my smallest daughter she didn't have an appt. She got her in right away, and made her very happy. My nail tech had a sense of humor and joked with my little one which made her more comfortable waiting around for us. My nails turned out better then the pictures I showed her I wanted. I was happy. The pictures I took didn't do them justice. So beautiful 😍 🤩. Highly recommend them to Eveyone I know.
