I've been meaning to write this review but better late than never. Back in May of 2025, I chose to hire Mill Creek Painters based on the positive reviews it had received online, particularly Joseph/joey to paint my apartment as I was list the property on the market. However, different painters showed up to which I later found they subcontracted it out to. The quality of the work that was done was horrendous. I was better off not painting it as the unit was very well maintained, but wanted a refresh of paint. The lack of experience from these subcontracted painters left paint stains all over the laminate flooring (which was a pain to clean up afterwards because it seeped into the grain). To make that matters worse, they used the wrong type of paint on all the doors and trims, leaving a rough texture as opposed to it being smooth previously. Since I have trust issues with trades when things were busy, I had a gut feeling that corners would be cut, so I had small markers on the wall to make sure that the wall was actually painted since I was not there when the work was done. To my surprise, the pencil marking was still present on a few walls. I made a complaint to the company as I should not be responsible to pay for amateur work, they sent over Joseph to fix it. However, he was very limited on what he can do as he was fully booked till end of summer (he did a good job on fixing the mistakes, but didn't get to all of it). I ended up hiring a different company which delayed the sale, hence losing thousands of dollars because the market dropped from the delayed. Honestly if you choose to go with this company, make sure its Joseph doing the work, otherwise its not worth it if they subcontract it out, or be present when the work is being done.

We needed some wood restoration work in our home in a ridiculously short deadline. Joey and Havana were an absolute dream. Not only were they meticulous with their work, they took such good care of our home, minimising mess and disruption. Above all, they were simply delightful people to work with. The whole team at Mill Creek, especially Marmar, were professional and courteous and went the extra mile to meet my needs. I would contract Mill Creek for any residential painting or restoration project.

I highly recommend this company! When I called their office to inquire about some painting job needed to be done asap, Marmar answered, followed up and helped me out. Their staff who came to do the job is absolutely awesome! His name is Joseph. Joseph is professional, knowledgeable, honest and most of all empathetic to my situation as we have our dog damaged three doors in the apartment we rented and we have just that day to fix it because I needed to return the keys to our landlord the next day. Joseph got all the job done in the same day! The doors look like brand new! Amazing that’s all I can say! Thank you Joseph and Marmar for all your help - Flordeliza

These guys are awesome and were wonderful to work with! I needed my popcorn ceiling painted prior to moving in, and I was moving in in like 2 days when I called them. They got it done ASAP at a good price, and their responses were super quick so I didn’t have to wonder about anything. It really took the stress out of the whole job just feeling like they were really professional with quick and polite responses, one less thing for me to worry about during a rushed hectic move! They did a great job too! I will be using them again if I ever need anything painted! THANK YOU GUYS! :) :)

We’ve used Mill Creek Painters twice now for painting in our office, and both experiences have been excellent. The first time, Joseph handled the job and did such outstanding work that we made sure to book our next project around his availability. We needed the second job done over a weekend, and Joseph was incredibly accommodating. He patched and painted two offices in just a few hours, with a fantastic finish and a spotless cleanup. Highly recommend Mill Creek Painters — and especially Joseph. He’s skilled, professional, and very easy to work with!

We had a terrible experience with Mill-Creek. The first crew that was sent to paint our house took over double the quoted time and made an absolute mess of our home. Paint all over the trim, switches, floor and doors. The only reason we’re not giving a one star review is that they did send two different crews to clean up the mess and thankfully they were able to get 90% of it cleaned up, overall the quality just isn’t there though. Every day we find new spots where the old paint color is seeping through, or the texture is very bumpy and looks amateur. The cherry on top: we were offered 10% off to make up for the mess + delay and today, a couple of weeks later, they sent out a 10% off voucher to all their newsletter subscribers. The price doesn’t match up with the quality. [Update - 1 year later] It’s become a running joke in our house not to look at the walls too closely, every time we do we notice how poorly the place was painted. Overall it just looks like an amateur job, something me and some buddies could’ve done. I’ve attached some photos to show how rushed and poorly done all the corners and edges were. Clear brush strokes, paint on the trim, etc. I appreciate the reply offering your phone number, we’ve lost any trust in your companies ability to paint. Not a big deal but annoying that we’ll have to pay a couple thousand to clean up your “professional” paint job in the future.
