We went in for a meet and greet and the level of service was beyond our expectations. Everyone was so kind and understanding with our 3 dogs that came in. We adopted 2 if them over 2 weeks ago and the Dr. And staff were so patient with them that made me feel so comfortable. We did some research and all the reviews said they were great and I could not agree more. Once in the office they did a detailed look at our dogs and there medical history. They talked to us about what our next steps were and they were very understanding of what was important at the moment. We definitely recommend them if you are looking for a vet.

Dr. Waters takes the best care of our anxious little cockapoo! We are so grateful for the considerate staff at MacKay’s who are always friendly and supportive.

our 8 month old kitten suddenly got lethargic and was straining to poop. We brought him here to McKay's animal hospital. Dr. McLean and this staff went above and beyond what we could ever hope for. They did every test. Our kitten ended up having a fever and a possible block in his bowels, he has surgery performed by dr. McLean and our kitten was back and fourth from home to the doctors for the best care and our kitten immediately after surgery began eating and getting better. Our kitten is home and happy now, and we are so relieved. Dr McLean still calls to check in on our kittens progress. For a back story on our kitten he and his sister were orphaned at birth and my partner and I have been raising him and his sister since he was born. I can confidently say if we didn't take our kitten to Dr McLean our kitten would no longer be with us. Thank you Dr. McLean and all the staff at McKay's animal hospital.

I had never been to MacKay's Animal Hospital before, and I brought my elderly cat in after he had lost a significant amount of weight. I am incredibly grateful to Dr. Gonsalves-Hubers for her kindness, empathy, and care throughout the visit. The experience was thoughtful and compassionate from start to finish. I truly couldn’t recommend this animal hospital more—it’s the best veterinary experience I’ve had.

I have been taking my dog Beasley (Cairn Terrier) to MacKay’s Animal Hospital her entire life and she is now 17 years old and going strong! A testament to their excellent care. Our primary vet is Dr. Waters and she is an amazing vet. I appreciate the “team” approach taken at the clinic, even if Dr. Waters is away for a few days someone else will always jump in and call with test results, or enquire about Beasley’s health etc. The front staff that I interact with most often (Carey, Linda, Dan) are so kind and professional and always greet us with a smile. I highly recommend MacKay’s Animal Hospital, they are great people who provide excellent care.
