Second Visit - Very Disappointed This was my second time at Livingstar Auto Detailing, and unfortunately, it will be my last. I scheduled an appointment for 10am for interior/exterior detailing and seat shampooing. When I dropped off my car on time, I was told it would take 3 hours. Upon handing over the keys, this changed to 4 hours - no problem, I was flexible. At 1pm I called to check on the car, but was told it needed more drying time. I messaged again at 4pm with no response. Since they close at 5:30pm, I decided to just stop by. When I arrived, my car was parked behind a Range Rover that was being detailed. The Rover looked immaculate inside and out, but my car was only cleaned on the inside - the exterior hadn't been touched. When I asked why, the employee said the shampoo machine broke at 2pm. Yet somehow the Range Rover that arrived after my car was completely finished while mine sat there incomplete for 7 hours. Nobody called or texted me about this issue. I wasn't going to walk away with a half-finished job after waiting all day, so I asked the employee to complete the exterior. He refused and said it was out of his hands. When I requested to speak with the owner, the employee eventually relented and finished the work around 6:30pm. The owner just laughed it off and asked what I expected him to do at this point. Both of them made me feel like I was the problem for expecting the service I paid for. I understand delays happen, but the complete lack of communication and feeling like my appointment didn't matter compared to other customers was really frustrating. The owner offered 10% off for my "troubles," but that doesn't fix the wasted day and disrespect. I'd recommend taking your business elsewhere where your time and money are actually valued.

As is shown in photos, my Volvo is an older model. It was purchased new in 2012. Livingstar Auto Detailing has been my go-to for detailing,wax, polish, shampoo and leather care. For the five years that I've been in Yaletown, Fernando and crew have given the very best customer service. They attend to ever detail of care for my car and have even made some exceptions to my schedule. The interior of the shop is clean, organized and gives a sense that Livingstar is a highly professional business. I'm appreciative of the quality of work and the customer service.

Excellent service, employees were friendly, they did all my requests! Interior and exterior detail and decal removal on the rear trunk door, wish I had more time for them to do more work definitely use their shop again when I come back
