I searched for salons in Saskatoon that specialize in curly cuts, and this one popped up. I was able to get in right away, which almost never happens with curly cuts—normally the wait lists are so long, and I was honestly desperate for help. I had gone to another salon several weeks ago for a color correction that unfortunately left my hair fairly damaged. I tried to trim the damage myself and completely messed up the shape of my curls. When I walked into this salon, the vibe was exactly what I needed—relaxed, chill, and completely aligned with the inclusive, welcoming atmosphere described on their website. I was greeted warmly and even offered high-quality coffee and drinks, which was such a nice touch. Zennovia was incredible. She was personable, confident, and self-assured in a way that immediately made me feel safe to express my concerns with my hair. She explained her process, knew exactly what needed to be done, and didn’t hesitate to execute our colaborative vision. That kind of confidence with curly hair is rare. Another thing I appreciated: she did push products on me at all. Not once. But when I asked for suggestions, she gave thoughtful, helpful recommendations for what I could use on my hair if I wanted to—no pressure whatsoever. As someone with curly hair, I’ve had so many disappointing experiences—stylists who don’t really know how to cut curls, who rush through the appointment, or who use the wrong products. I usually leave feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. That did not happen here. Her no BS approach to running her business is unique, thoughtful, and honestly worth every penny—especially if you have textured hair. And when I left? I looked like an absolute bombshell. My curls were defined, healthy-looking, and beautifully shaped. I genuinely haven’t seen my hair look that good in years. If you’re considering booking here, do it. I couldn’t recommend this salon more.

I always feel pampered after visiting Zennovia at Inlihtan. She is super knowledgeable and obviously cares about her clients’ hair. Excellent service and a cool, laidback atmosphere.

Zen was absolutely amazing with my curls and not only made them look amazing but took the time to instruct me on how to achieve the same at home. 100% recommend her to anyone, especially my fellow-curly girlies.

I have been going to hair stylist, Zennovia for many years! I recently got married this summer and it was an easy choice to have Zenn as part of my wedding day! From the months of prep work to ensure my hair was the correct colour I wanted, while keeping my hair healthy and long, Zenn's hair knowledge is by far the best! On the wedding day, Zenn showed up on location and gave me the most beautiful hair for my wedding day, as well as doing all of my bridesmaids, flower girl and mother of the bride hair. She ensured every strand of hair was perfectly placed during all of my photos and throughout the day. Thank you so much Zenn and Inlihtan for being the most amazing place and the most amazing, talented hair artists.

You’ve got curly hair, you’ve never felt understood by your hairstylist. You’ve never felt listened to. LET’S CHANGE THAT. I got my curly hair cut and styled by Zen last night and I got out of her chair A DIFFERENT PERSON. My insides felt calm, like I just got off the massage table from a 2 hr massage. Did I get my hair cut or spend the day at the spa?! Who the heck knows. Zen listened, she educated, she gave me the most exquisite scalp massage I have ever had, she finger curled my WHOLE HEAD. Did I say I’m a different person now? Anyone with hair would benefit from sitting in her chair. Run don’t walk.
