I would highly recommend Jay's Automotive! I have had nothing but positive automotive service experiences with this company. Most recently, I was informed by another garage that my 3 year old vehicle required all new brake pads and rotors. Surprised by this, I decided to get a second opinion. Jay's got me in the same day for a second brake inspection and informed me that my brakes were just fine. I applaud this company for their knowledge, honesty and professionalism and customer service.

2018 F150 3.5L Cam phaser cold start rattle fix. They provided a perfect quote listing all parts by part number. Completely transparent. Not the cheapest but the most straight up. I will be booking my truck in for the repair here down the line and trust they will perform a perfect job. This is the second time I've had to do my phasers. The first was at Ford under warranty and they used the defective HL3Z6256-CD phasers instead of the beefier upgraded ML3Z6256-A. Cheers.

About 2 minutes after parking in front of the Cana cabana (2 businesses down), some blonde woman came out of Jay’s. She came up to my friend and I who was in a different car, and asked if we were doing business there or going across the street. We told her we were doing both. She said we can’t park here, despite no signs saying so, and would tow our cars. The lady said she watched us driving around looking for a spot across the street and in the area. Apparently having nothing better to do at her job, than watch cars out the window and yell at people trying to use the parking lot. No wonder there is no business, it’s not us in the way, it’s the staff’s bad attitude.

I have been coming to jays automotive for a few years and I got to say they never disappoint me. Between communication from Andrea on each step of the process to jays advice on what needs to be done to get me back on the road, always leaves me with the feeling i came to the right place. Jays automotive reminds me of the trustworthy honest mechanic from years gone by that seems to missing in a big city like Calgary that we are all searching for.

If I could give six stars I would. I have used many mechanics and auto body shops and Jays stands out because they don’t just offer great workmanship but amazing customer service. Their receptionist goes above and beyond. Her diligence to detail, using language that is understandable and remembering the actual customer is remarkable. As a female I feel safe in their space. I have never felt taken advantage of and I would recommend this location to anyone. (For reference I have brought a Honda, Toyota, Nissan and Subaru there)
