I won a free family session with a $100 credit towards the art they offer. It was the first time we have had our family photos done with our dog and they turned out beautifully. The print packages are a little pricey but when they explain the process and the care that they put into your portraits, it makes sense! The photographer was so patient with our dog, who's never modelled before too! The experience was really good, the photos are amazing and I am grateful for the payment plans to make this an achievable investment for the next generations of my family. One suggestion though would to be to get a fan as the studio can get quite warm when you're heartrate is elevated from managing dog, moving around in different poses, etc lol but overall, 10/10 experience that feels very personal and unique! Thank you!

As her business grows, it is great to see that the individuals who work along side Tamara continues to provide the amazing service as she did from the very beginning.

From misadventure to treasured time! Our family session was booked by someone who misunderstood how the pricing worked. Originally we went to cancel once we saw the price sheet, but we would have lost our deposit for trying to cancel too late. That said, Hudson&Wren explained that if we didn't like any of the shots, we could get our deposit back. I'm glad we specifically asked for the price sheet ahead of time, as the info is a bit hard to find in the booking confirmation email. It is very expensive, and you have to be willing to invest in this. Tamara was our photographer and she made everyone so comfortable, even the teenager smiled! When things went a bit sideways with kid dynamics, Tamara worked to get everyone back on track and having fun. The studio props helped. The changing space was tight for more than one person, and could use more spaces to hang items. We got to review our shots with Mark about 10 days later via Zoom. Right up front he clarified the pricing (where we realized we'd misread the pricing... again!) and led us through 3 guided rounds of narrowing our selection to fit our price range. I appreciated that he gave us the After-Tax prices at the start. He later drew our attention to alternative/flexible combinations for packages. Mark was able to do on-the-spot cropping and pointed out where images looked more dynamic, natural, etc., all with the most soothing of voices and a lovely sense of humour! Some of the portraits were a little rigid, but we found there were so many gorgeous shots it was hard to choose! Bonus: They offer interest-free payment plans.

I had a great experience working with Hudson Wren for photos. It was my first time doing something like this and enjoyed the experience with my son. Our photographer worked very well with my son as well and helped navigate us through the whole process to help it go smoothly. I loved the photos that came out of this experience as well. Photo frames and quality is really good.
