I accidentally stumbled across Hedkandi and had my hair cut, coloured and styled by Emily. Her skills are beyond amazing! The colour is exactly what I wanted and lasts an extremely long time. The cut frames my face wonderfully and I now travel from BC to see Emily. The salon is relaxing yet professional and caters almost exclusively to women. If you have long hair you need to see Emily! You’ll leave looking and feeling like a million dollars.

I just got the most incredible haircut of my entire life from Lila this evening. Words cannot express how much I love this cut. Lila was so incredible! We went through some inspo pictures and she immediately knew exactly what I was looking for and executed it with absolute perfection. I quite literally almost cried. I am fully embracing my crazy cat lady, weird art teacher vibes as I get older and this haircut absolutely fits the vibe. Thank you so much Lila and Chloe for the exceptional work.

I loved getting my hair done here! The staff were super friendly, and I loved my hairstylist Emily! Such an amazing vibe and a gorgeous salon. My hair turned out the best it ever has. Will definitely be coming back!

I've had a really great experience at Headkandi Hotel Arts. I saw Tabia when she was an apprentice and she did a great job with my hair. I recently booked in with her again and I was so happy with the results. It’s been really nice to see Tabia grow as a stylist. She’s attentive, mindful, and really listens to the results you want. I’m so fussy about my hair but feel confident getting a full colour, cut, and style from Tabia. I’ll be back when those greys start coming in again!!

I got a balayage from Rachelle and she was really lovely! I felt like my colour wasn’t as bright as I wanted as the days went on (maybe it was a hair treatment I used at home) so I reported this and she immediately scheduled me into her busy day to fix and rebrighten my hair and the colour was perfect again! I really appreciated her professionalism and warmth and talent, it’s a couple months later and the colour is still so pretty and gets so many compliments!! The staff here are very kind I do feel like the prices are also reasonable for the quality you get! Highly recommend :)

Always an incredible experience at Hedkandi. Sarah and her beautiful assistants have been doing my perfect platinum hair for 15 years. I have had probably every service done here and always look incredible when I leave but what is also so important is how they all make you feel incredible as well. LOVE LOVE LOOOOOOVE!

Justine usually cuts my hair and I love her and everything she does. She’s currently on maternity leave, so I tried out a new stylist. This new lady I tried, very nice. However, she really butchered my hair. Im trying not to be dramatic but everyone who saw it was kind of shocked. I’m reminded to write this review because it’s just not a style I love, BUT I called that same day and they made it right. A more senior stylist took me in for the next day and did her best to fix it. She mentioned at the end that there were pieces that were too short and they just had to grow out. At the end of the second appointment I was at the front buying some more products and they were discussing how she wouldn’t be paid for this, and she seemed peeved. Made me a little uncomfortable. It’s a really nice salon, and they do their best to make sure you have the best experience possible so I have nothing terrible to say. I just didn’t like my last experience as much. Will continue using this location when Justine returns! ☺️

Kallie is amazing. Went in to get bangs. She nailed it. I had beem tossing with the idea so I was still a bit hesitant. From the minute I sat in the chair i new I was in good hands. She has such a good vibe! She was thorough in explaining the ups and downs of having them. We went through photos. She listened to me and was super patient. She cut them, and I left stoked with my new do!

Kallie is fantastic. Have been going to her for almost a year. She is great with my hair. I have thick hair and lots of it. At other salons in the past it always takes over an hour to do my haircut. But everytime I have been to Kallie it is under an hour which is amazing.

Kallie was so sweet and accommodating, she even booked me an after-hours appointment because I wear a hijab. She did an amazing cut and style on my hair and is clearly very experienced with curly textures. I loved the results and can’t wait to come back!

I am so lucky to have found Kallie. She had cut my daughter’s hair and so I was excited to have my own curly hair done by her as well. She is patient, creative and an excellent communicator and builds instant trust - Just who I needed to help me work towards a new style. I am so pleased with my cut and tint!
