I went in for a full head of highlights with multiple reference photos. Since my hair usually takes about five hours on a normal day, I knew I was in for a long appointment. Nina greeted me at the front and we got straight to work. I say this with complete sincerity, she was AMAZING. We chatted the entire time, and I didn’t even realize six hours had flown by. My hair turned out exactly how I wanted. Usually when I go blonde there are some thicker sections, but she blended everything so seamlessly that it looks completely natural. I’ll be coming back every six months from now on, and I recommend Nina to everyone I know!!

Iv been going to Nina, for a long time now and every time I sit in her chair, I walk out feeling confident, refreshed and so obsessed with my hair! She listens to exactly what i want, gives honest advice and always makes the result even better than what i pictured. The salon has such a warm and welcoming vibe and you can tell she genuinely cares about her clients. I always look forward to my appointments with her! Nina is the only person i trust with my hair! I’ve gotten my hair done by Nina a few times both cut and color. She is amazing! Left my appointments feeling beautiful. She’s super kind and fun to chat with. She also does amazing blow outs and really takes her time to make sure your hair comes out exactly how you want! Great attention to detail :) would recommend nina heavily! PS. she also has curly hair and it can be hard to find someone who knows what it’s like. She’s familiar with several different hair types which is awesome.

I got a curly haircut here and I’m so happy with the result. I’m usually really scared of haircuts because my curls have been messed up before, but Nina was amazing. She listened to what I wanted, took her time, and shaped my curls perfectly without taking off too much. My hair looks healthier and more defined than ever. If you have curly hair, I highly recommend her!

I have been going to Hedkandi off an on for many years, and have been seeing Karina for the last four. When I say that Karina is amazing at what she does, it is an understatement. I truly receive unsolicited compliments from strangers on my hair on a regular basis, and all I can do is thank them and say that I have nothing to do with it 😂 She is a total master with hair colour. We have been transitioning my formerly dark brown dyed hair to something lighter and a bit more forgiving as my gray roots grow in, and the result has been gorgeous, I am so happy with it. But what I appreciate most about Karina is how much she cares about and values her clients. The first time I saw her, she really spent the time getting to understand what it was I wanted. She will also be completely honest with you if what you are asking for will not get you the result you want. In the small number of times that has happened, I have deferred to her expertise and never regretted it. The salon itself is also wonderful. All of the staff I have encountered from the team working the reception desk, to assistants and other stylists are so kind and fun. It is a great vibe, and I always look forward to my appointments. Five stars, no notes, highly recommend.

I have been getting my hair done here for almost 2 years now, going blonde. Nina K does such an amazing job of perfecting her work.
