Thanks to Yuki, you are the best of best. I had a perfect experience. The head massage made me very relaxed, and I slept like a baby. And after a head spa, I didn't have to wash my hair for four days and it was still clean, it was unbelievable! So I bought the shampoo from the store, lol.

Wow. What a reset. From the first breath of sandalwood to the last gentle touch, everything felt intentional and deeply calming. The soundscape, the atmosphere, the masterful hands... it all flowed together beautifully. I walked in carrying months of stress and walked out lighter, softer, almost luminous. My shoulders dropped, my mind cleared, my hair look gorgeous. Grumpy to magical princess in one session!! Haha. Absolutely coming back. ✨

I went in for a head spa, and it was my first time doing it after seeing videos online. I felt that the experience fell short. I've read that a neck massage was included and kept waiting for it, but it seems like it was just a few passes with soap over my neck and shoulders. For the "quick blow dry" I saw that there is an extra charge for long and thick hair, which I have, so I expected my hair to be blown dry with round comb and dryer, however, she just dried it with her fingers and dryer for a while, so my hair got huge! I trusted the process as she then passed the round comb very quickly. My ends looked very rough so I asked her if she could curve my ends and smooth my hair a bit, she seemed confused (eventhough I literally looked like Hermione!) She didn't do much more, and had an attitude about my request. I understand they are probably used to straigh Japanese hair, but I left the spa looking crazy, and I had a meeting afterwards! So a bit disappointing. The actual washing of the hair and massaging was nice.

Super relaxing experience! I almost fell asleep during my signature head spa treatment, MULTIPLE times. My head feels very clean now and I enjoyed the experience very much.

I’ve always wanted to try a japanese head spa- and this was a great choice! Such a relaxing experience, and it was wonderful to feel my scalp thoroughly clean. Location was easy to find, and a well-curated space on the 8th floor of the Granville building. Thank you Gokan Japanese Head Spa!
