This has been my go-to vet now for some years after trying out various vets for my two cats. They are very kind, patient, and take the time to explain the results to you in an easy-to-understand manner. I have never felt pressure to do unnecessary testing and they have always explained the options and outcomes to me. I have never had an issue being able to make an appointment and will continue to use this vet for the foreseeable future. They are a wonderful place and deserve every accolade. Thank you so much for taking care of my boys. I’ve included a photo of my cat inspecting the facilities and he also concludes this is a good place for a pet to be.

Our senior dog Max desperately needed his anal glands cleared, and of course it was on a long weekend on a Sunday that they become impacted. I called around to various clinics to see their "emergency" rates, and gateways not only had one of the most competitive prices, the staff on the phone were excellent at answering my questions and making me feel heard. Dr. Singh took excellent care of Max, let us know what to watch for in our aging boy and what concerns to bring up to our regular vet going forward. Max's anal glands were cleared and Max trotted out the room with pep in his step. Thank you for the wonderful care and fair, competitive rates.

Dr. Dhillon, Dr. Singh, their team and Inky saved our baby boy, Bailey’s life exactly a year ago today. It was 1 am on Christmas Day 2024, our boy collapsed while drinking water. We first took him to an emergency vet (who’s name and clinic we will not mention) that didn’t even give him a fighting chance. I won’t go into further detail but it was a heart wrenching experience. We could tell Bailey still had a strong will to live. We decided we needed to find a vet who would actually provide the care and treatment that Bailey needed. We decided we needed to find someone better. We did research and found Gateway Veterinary Centre. They were open on Christmas Day. We took Bailey there as soon as they opened. Bailey was treated with the utmost urgency and care. His situation was explained to us thoroughly. The situation was very dire, but they still honoured our wishes of giving him a chance. Within a very short amount of time we had a transfusion done and we were prescribed medications. They closely monitored his condition over the course of the next 9 months. They never gave up on Bailey even when he relapsed. They showed that they care. Fast forward to September of this year, Bailey was finally given a clean bill of health. We are so thankful for everyone in Gateway Veterinary Centre. Bailey is alive, healthy and happy today because of them. We can not say enough positive things about everyone involved. Myself, my wife, Bailey and Sushi will forever be grateful.

Kind and caring service. Not too sure what’s going on with my old dog, she has stopped eating and is drinking very little. Physical exam, heart and lungs good with slightly elevated temp. Blood test done and antibiotic injection given. Bowels checked and anal glands expressed. All for around $300, AND on a Sunday! She got the best service ever from Dr Singh! 🐾

We brought our cat Issey for her spay, and we couldn’t be happier with the care she received. The staff were incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and attentive. Their follow-up after the procedure really showed how much they care. We will definitely return and highly recommend their team!
