I have had wonderful experiences here. My car has been taken care of in a prompt and timely manner. I feel very comfortable and confident with the work being done, all for a reasonable price. The people there are very friendly and they take all my car worries away. I would highly recommend coming here!

This is one of the few shops that allows me to bring my own parts for them to install with no issue. They're upfront about their costs and willing to price out repairs in the event you're 'shopping around.' From my experience they've provided regular updates on vehicle repair timeline and highlighted other issues worth noting if you were interested in fixing said issues. This shop is easy to work with and their pricing is great (even though I'm sure their pricing is comparable to other shops). I'll be back.

Brought my car in for an inspection and the whole process felt half-assed. They didn’t give me any tire tread or brake life readings — I had to ask, and even then, they didn’t provide proper numbers. Their excuse was that “there wasn’t room on the inspection sheet,” like they couldn’t use another piece of paper. They also listed issues that I had mentioned to them beforehand, which makes me question whether they even did a proper inspection at all. It honestly looked like they just check-marked everything without actually verifying anything. They didn’t even write the date on the inspection form. On top of that, they told me to drop my car off at 7 AM, but my dash cam footage shows they didn’t start working on it until after 1 PM. If that’s the case, why have me come in so early? Overall, it felt unorganized, unprofessional, and rushed. I wouldn’t trust them again for an inspection or any kind of diagnostic work.

Updating my review. Still coming to Chase and his team at Gate Avenue Service - I think we’ve brought 4 vehicles here now over 10 years. First and most importantly, Chase and his team are honest and hard working. They are extremely busy but always make time to diagnose and give second opinions. They have saved me money and given me solid advice multiple times when dealerships were leaving me astray. Most recently Chase and his team helped me to advocate (aka fight) Hyundai to get a replacement on my engine. Chase provided me all the documentation that Hyundai required not once, but twice, and in paper and in e-mail after Hyundai “misplaced” it. Chase did both of these requests same day. Chase has seen me at my worst (in tears) completely overwhelmed with car stress (and I don’t speak car) and also completely flustered trying to explain what felt off with my vehicle when I seriously was not describing it well. The team at Gate is always courteous and treat me and all the customers I have ever seen with respect. The only limitation or downside with Gate is that they are really busy - and for good reason! So you may have to wait a bit for an appointment but they will always treat you right! PS They offer a program to store your tires for you! I always buy my tires and extra rims from them and they store them for me in off seasons.
