Flux Movement is a fantastic gym. The coaches are all excellent and the training they provide has built up my strength and taught my kids so many new skills and given them so much more confidence.
Parkour is such a fun activity and having workouts for parents at the same time as kids is so helpful.

Coaches Darci and Rosco have been wonderful influences in my son's world. He has found an activity that helps him to channel his energy in a positive healthy way. He has improved his physical literacy drastically and continues to build up his self esteem. This will be his second year at flux and I am sure there will be more to
come!

PARENTS BE VERY CAUTIOUS registering for flux summer camps. I registered my son for a one week (afternoons) camp at flux several months prior to summer after asking several questions about the camp. Recently, when asking a family member for help transporting my child to the camps, I copy and pasted the information from flux website. There is a comment at the end which states they may roam around the neighborhood. (screenshot attached) When I emailed darci to ask what this entails, I was sent a very passive aggressive email which both insults me and clearly shows the ignorance of this person. darci indicated she will be walking with the group of children from YWCA to Connaught school and then to Les Sherman Park (that's quite a distance for young kiddos) She also proceeded to tell me she took her group to the city of Regina encampment last year and allowed one child to accept food from someone staying at the encampment. Thankfully that food didn't have any illicit drugs on it and harmed the child. darci indicated that homeless people are harmless, but obviously doesn't realize that not all addicts are homeless and not all homeless are addicts.
Anyone who doesn't realize addicts will do anything to feed their addiction, need to educate themselves (screenshot of email attached). Downtown definitely has an increasing number of addicts. My concern is the itinerary is not clearly stated, defined or mentioned in any way on the site nor in any of the original emails when I was enquiring about the camps. Had I not recently emailed darci asking what "roam the neighborhood means" , my child would have gone on an excursion I never consented to. I would never have registered my child for this camp and all of the person's I've related this information to agree and also would not feel comfortable having their child involved. A reminder, Elisa Tuckanow died at the encampment of an overdose...what responsible person would take a group of children to such a place! Absolutely deplorable and unacceptable, darci you should be ashamed of yourself. Lastly, darci refunded me all but $25 and claims it was an admin fee. There is absolutely NO mention of this on her refund page (screenshot attached). she then childishly said it was for all the time she spent talking to me which she would never have had to do if her website was transparent and clearly states her intentions as I would never have considered registering my child. Again, shame on you darci, do better. I'm out $25, you keep it darci and offer it to some downtown folks you think are in need.

Kiddos have been doing parkour here for over 2 years now, and thoroughly enjoy it. Something different and a lot of fun!
