I joined Fitness World after realizing my workout routine needed a real home base and it turned into one of those decisions that actually stuck instead of fading after a few visits. The first thing that struck me was how welcoming the space feels when you walk in. The variety of equipment is great. Rows of treadmills, ellipticals, and bikes keep the cardio options fresh. Free weights and strength machines are well maintained and organized, which makes it easier to plan a balanced session without waiting around for something to free up. I also tried a couple of classes and liked how they were structured so you could feel challenged without being overwhelmed by intensity. Another part that stuck with me was how the community vibe feels casual and supportive. People aren’t trying to show off or compete with each other. They’re focused on their own goals and often nod or smile in that quiet way gym buddies do. It made showing up feel easier on days when motivation was low.

I love the gym and it’s team. Thomas my superduper personal trainer has been great in pushing my limits and reaching my goals. And the gym team, especially Martin and Zoom are always super friendly and helpful every time I need something from them.🙌🤩🙌

I've been going here for a year. Pros: + One of the cheapest gyms (if you don't get the private trainers here) + 5 squat racks, 1 trap bar + Lots of standard machines + Equipment does occasionally get fixed or replaced. Cons: - Private trainers rates are a ripoff - 150% or more compared to other places. - Tetanus dispencers (hella rusty boxes) are often out of alcohol wipes - Annual "cleaning fee" is literal - they only clean once per year - Absolute filthyest place - floors NEVER mopped, mirrors cleaned once per month, etc., - If equipment or lockers are broken, it will take 3 month to get it fixed - Freezing cold in winter as they open doors for ventilation. Sweat Lodge in the summer when it's busy.

I’m 16 and just wanted to try this gym to stay active. When we signed up, they said I had to have a private trainer, which cost $200 — even though I just wanted to work out normally. Then they kept charging $30 every two weeks, and when we tried to switch to a cheaper plan, they said we had to wait another month before it changes. On top of that, they randomly charged a $62 “yearly fee” that no one told us about. It’s honestly so frustrating. Everything feels confusing and unfair, and canceling is super hard. I’d tell anyone thinking about joining — don’t do it.

We wanted to test how this gym works, so we registered for a premium membership. They told us that since my sister is 16 years old, she must have a private instructor, which cost us $200 upfront. We planned to see if the gym was good before committing long-term, but it turned out to be almost impossible to cancel the subscription. We registered two months ago, and every two weeks $30 was deducted. When we realized the classes were not good, they said we had to pay another $30 just to switch to a cheaper, gym-only plan — we were forced to pay that too. Then we noticed the same $30 charges kept coming, and when we called, they said we’d have to wait another month (two more payments = $60) before the new plan would apply. Finally, while waiting for the change, we were also charged an unexpected $62 “yearly maintenance fee” — something no one told us about at registration. In total, we ended up paying over $380 just for trying to test the gym for two months! Overall, this gym feels misleading, overpriced, and extremely hard to cancel. If you’re not 100% sure about your plan, do not register here, even for a short trial — it’s just not worth it.
