Biggest scam I've ever seen. Long story as short as I can make it, drove an hour and a half there only because my vet didn't have the IV needed. My vet had gotten a quote for the 24hr IV treatment before I had gone and it was already expensive ($1,500) but I thought it's worth it to help my dog. They confirmed what my vet had already told me but then they wanted to run other tests that had nothing to do with my dogs situation and wanted to charge 3x more then what my vet could do same tests for. I asked only for the IV that my vet didn't have and anything else my dog needed I can do with my vet. They refused and said they can't just do the IV and had to do everything. They would only start my dogs treatment if I payed 4x the amount I was quoted minimum ($5,500) and they said it could go up. I didn't have the money they where asking and they made me feel like if I didn't pay my dog would die and they wouldn't let me back to check on my dog. After 5 plus hours of sitting there thinking my dog is dying in the back room and there was nothing I could do to help because I didn't have the money and they where refusing the treatment I took my dog there for and that I was quoted for, I finally demanded they take my dog to me. After realizing my dog was not in as bad shape as they made her out to be I told them I was taking her home, they still wanted $500 just for me sitting there, only payed because I wanted to get out of there. I picked up what my dog needed from the pharmacy ($20) and did home treatment and it only took 2 days for my dog to be 100% no thanks to them. Now it's been 3 years and my dog is still 100% and happy. This place is the biggest scam and don't actually care about your pets. I still have PTSD and anxiety everytime I think my dog might need the vet.

Our regular vet was not available and recommended Fairfield who fit us in immediately. The vet explained the medical issues our dog was experiencing and our options. Sadly, the kindest option was to put down our sweet little dog. The doctor and staff at Fairfield were incredibly kind and compassionate. They have a comfortable room where we could cuddle our dog and say our goodbyes. We never felt rushed. At the front desk there was a candle and sign indicating that someone was saying goodbye to their pet and to please lower your voice out of respect. We received a touching card signed by the staff with clippings of our dog's fluff and his paw prints. The staff at Fairfield helped us through this horrible time. We are grateful!

We had to bring our dog in and the staff here were beyond exceptional. Every thing was explained in great detail. Dr. Herbst was great with explaining different options, cost associated and being honest about what was necessary for our pup. I would 10/10 recommend taking your pet to these wonderful people. Thank you for giving our pup such great care.

If I could give this animal hospital 10 stars I would. Especially, Dr. Ale Ceballos who saved our dog Sadie. She was able to determine proper diagnosis and our dog Sadie is recovering very well. She saved us money by not having to go to Vancouver. We appreciate her and all the supporting staff over that time. We are grateful and very thankful for everything they did.

These people are such scammers. My friends cat had a blockage and she had to race him there. They unblocked him, did blood work, pain meds and kept him for a couple of days with a catheter in. The bill was almost 4 THOUSAND dollars!!! Within 20 hours he was blocked again and we took him back. They were trying to push the exact same few days and the almost 4 THOUSAND dollars a second time. She's in disability and drained everything for the first one. They also try to push us to do a surgery in Summerland which will also cost $3k. Saying we have to do that or put the cat down. We then talk to the OHS who explains that anywhere else is a quarter of the price. They also explain they can help but will not send us to Summerland as they are linked to Fairfield and also rip you off. Fairfield ended up wanting to charge another 1200 just to unblock and blood work and send him home. I had to demand no blood work just so they would take that off. Then it was still 800 bucks. The OHS got us to go to Harvey and spall for the surgery and the cat is there now for 4 days and catheter, bloodwork, Pu surgery and pain meds for a quarter of what that and the surgery would be through Fairfield and Summerland. He was also way nicer than Fairfield and super p ronable. Fairfield even pushed Summerland two more times even though they knew our decision for his treatment and where he would be going. Absolute joke. Avoid this place unless it's because it's the middle of the night and u have no where else to go! Also they don't bring you in for the exam like every other vet does. you can't be in with your pet during that and that's super weird.
