Dr. Broughton is very informative in explaining medical conditions and medications, and the support staff are very friendly. Even though having a medically complex cat is a stressful situation, the staff here make going to the vet actually enjoyable!

I can not speak more highly of our experiences with Exclusively Cats. Dr Broughton and his team are nothing but the kindest, most professional, cat focused team in the city. We have experienced nothing but the best care, communication and kindness from this Vet with two of our darling little cats. They are so invested in your cats wellbeing and that becomes apparent from the moment you walk in. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them to everyone who owns a cat. Shout out to Ronald, the employee of the year who often appears at the moment you need a little emotional support.

I phoned today to ask about a medication that this vet is known to prescribe for cats with HCM. The receptionist, Mikaela, was kind and listened to me. She said she’d ask the vet if my cat could see him. She called me back within the hour and said that he won’t see her. I asked why and she gave me roundabout reasons like “he has never met her” and he “does not feel comfortable treating my cat.” I asked, since I was ready to be a loyal client, if I could just start with an exam and the receptionist seemed a bit confused. She promptly ended the conversation and said my cat will not be seen, ever. Good grief. Now I understand the mixed reviews. Puzzling and weird.

We've been bringing our cats to Dr Broughton for over 20 years. His knowledge is extensive and it's obvious he truly cares for his feline patients. Highly recommend!

Dr. B is an absolute treasure. We have entrusted him with the care of our kids for years. Clinic staff are also very kind & compassionate. Clinic is clean and conveniently located. I can’t imagine a better vet. Thank-you for all that you do, both for cats and for their nervous humans!!! ♡
