I booked an appointment with Jenny for a no bleach balayage and she did amazing! She is very attentive and is an expert at what she does. I highly recommend this salon and Jenny as your next hairstylist! :)

I am writing this review on behalf of my friend. She has been coming here for years and consistently saw the same stylist. At the beginning, the stylist did an excellent job, which is why my friend continued to return. However, over the last two visits, the quality of service declined significantly. Because she genuinely liked her stylist and understands that everyone can have off days, she chose not to complain at first. The first issue occurred when she asked for a trim but ended up having much more hair cut off than requested. She brushed it off and didn’t want to make it a big deal. The second time, she went in to have her hair dyed, and the color application was very uneven and patchy. It looked visibly wonky. My friend reached out to express her concerns, hoping for a solution. Unfortunately, instead of offering to correct it at a discounted rate or even just charging for the supplies, she was told it could be fixed at her next appointment but only at full price. That response was extremely disappointing. Overall, we’re just really disappointed with how everything turned out, especially after years of loyalty. Beware! It’s not a junior stylist either like I said, she has been coming here for years.

Today I visited Etch Hair Design for a color and cut. The salon is absolutely beautiful—clean, well-organized, and even the washrooms are spotless. Everyone there is incredibly friendly, and I felt really comfortable and welcomed throughout my visit. Jenny was my hairstylist, and she was exceptionally patient, kind, and understanding. She’s one of the rare stylists who truly listens to her clients’ requests and does her best to meet them. She also answered and explained everything clearly to address my questions, which made me feel confident and well taken care of. Jenny was very attentive to details, ensuring that all my hair was evenly colored with no patches or uneven tones. She was also very gentle during both the coloring and washing process. What I appreciated most is that she didn’t start overly personal small talk—just friendly, appropriate conversation that made the experience pleasant and relaxing. Her professionalism, kindness, and patience made my visit to Etch Hair Design even more amazing. I highly recommend Jenny to anyone looking for a skilled and considerate hairstylist who truly cares about her clients.

Got my haircut with Jenny and she was amazing! She really listened to what I wanted and made sure I was happy with the style. My hair feels so fresh and looks great — exactly what I needed! She’s super friendly and easy to talk to too. Definitely coming back next time!

Beware! Senior Stylist - ok to good job Junior stylist - i had to clean up my hair as all seniors are booked or take leave of absence for weeks. She botched my hair and it is uneven, odd hair stick up so amateur. Never get touch by junior there. In Japanese / Korean/ Chinese salon in asia, Junior cannot cut hair until they can actually cut hair. Here they just are worst then students I will need to find a new senior to fix my hair
