Can not say enough good things about this group. Friendly, attentive and caring. Our Huskey needed stitches, so I brought her in first thing in the morning with no appointment. They fit her in the schedule and had he all fixed up in no time. Thanks again for everything and taking such good care of our pooch!

The best vet clinic in Calgary! We travel all the way from Mahogany in the SE to bring both of our dogs here. All the staff are awesome and our dogs are very calm and comfortable when visiting. If you want a vet clinic that truly cares about your pets, I highly recommend you check out Elbow River.

Dr. Boyer and his team are wonderful!! As a first time dog owner and hence first pet surgery my nerves were completely calmed. I’m so thankful that Baxter is in such good hands with Dr.Boyer! The Elbow River vet Clinic had a very calm atmosphere so that pets and parents feel right at ease. I highly recommend checking them out!

My previous vet had basically priced me out of helping my suffering cat. I was considering doing a medical surrender to see that he gets the care that he needed. Truly a heart breaking thing to have to consider. He needed an upper canine removed, an expensive ordeal, and he was in quite a bit of pain. I found Elbow River Vet Clinic while I was exploring my options online. I decided to give them a call, initially asking about surrendering Charlie, not thinking it was within my means to help him. The staff obviously care deeply about the animals that they are charged with. They assured me that we could make it work. They did. They are also, compassionate, professional and available. I was presented with my options very clearly upon inquiring. Their location is clean and modern. Free refreshments... I think... lol. Financing options are available if needed I guess. That's good. All in all, a big difference over my experiences with VCA in crowfoot. They booked Charlie in on a Saturday at 8am, (the next day, I called close to close friday...) and they got the meds he needs into him right away. They got him for his extraction the following week... just a couple of days later, at less than half the cost estimated by my former vet. (On the low end. Complication free... Charlie was a little more work. I feel like I still did well. Charlie did very well!) They took wonderful care of him and hours later he's doing great. The grand total was well within the reasonable estimate AND I was able to pay for it all, and keep my cat. His oral prescriptions, as well as being pre-measured in individual syringes, and a more appropriate medication to the pain that he is experiencing... are now marshmallow flavored... instead of butthole flavored... that makes it a little easier to get them into him. One shot for antibiotics, no pills. One shot for anti-inflammatory, no pills... Compassion. It's the little things. Thank you so much everyone at Elbow River Vet! I can keep my best friend thanks to you. I've already sent a couple of potential customers your way. More to come. ***Pictures are taken a few hours after bringing him home.

We recently took our dog to Elbow River Vet and I can't recommend them highly enough! From the moment we walked in, the staff was welcoming and attentive. The clinic is clean and well-organized, which immediately put us at ease. Dr. Boyer took the time to thoroughly examine Toby and answered all our questions with patience and expertise. You can tell they genuinely care about the animals and their owners. The follow-up care instructions were clear and easy to understand. Overall, Elbow River Vet provides exceptional service, compassionate care, and a friendly atmosphere. I feel confident that our little guy is in great hands here. If you're looking for a vet who truly cares, this is the place to go!
