I had such a great experience with this veterinary clinic! They recently spayed my dog, Ruby, and have taken wonderful care of her. She’s still recovering, but overall everything has gone smoothly, and I feel very confident in the care she received. After her spay, Ruby unfortunately experienced a herniation related to the procedure. I brought her back in, and within half an hour they had her assessed and ready for surgery. They acted quickly and professionally, and everything went very well. She is now recovering at home and doing great. I was incredibly impressed with how promptly and compassionately they handled the situation. The staff are kind, professional, and excellent at communicating. They made sure everything was clearly explained before and after both procedures and were happy to answer all of my questions, which really gave me peace of mind. On top of that, they took care of the herniation surgery at no additional charge. Overall, the staff took amazing care of my dog, and I’m so grateful for their compassion, attention to detail, and integrity. Highly recommend!

Wow! What an experience! In and out within 25 minutes.A shot, an exam and nail trim. Thorough doctor took lots of questions from Mom and Dad. Our dog was shaking when we first walked in but Dr. King started giving her some pets and by the time she was sitting on the table for 3 to 4 minutes she was melting in Dr. King's hands. A thorough exam took place with a talk about things we should watch out for. Then before we knew it they were calling us to come and pick her up as she was done with her shot and her nail trim and she was ready to go home all within about 25 minutes. The staff was wonderful. Smiles behind the desks. Eager to help with questions answers to every one. Reminders to bring our fluffy one back to have nail trims in a month and out the door we went. Fast asleep in the car within minutes for the drive home. I have nothing negative to say about our visit to the West Edmonton clinic. I would highly recommend them.

We had our dog spayed on Monday at Edmonton West Animal Hospital & Spay/Neuter Centre, and we are truly grateful for the amazing care we received. I was extremely worried because my dog is like my child, but the staff’s professionalism, kindness, and compassion immediately gave me peace of mind. Everything was explained clearly, and my dog was treated with so much love and gentleness. Special thanks to Lina from Ukraine — she was incredibly attentive, supportive, and caring. She guided us through this stressful experience and made it so much easier for both me and my dog. Thank you to the entire team for your empathy, professionalism, and outstanding care. I had a wonderful experience at West Animal Hospital. From the moment i arrived, the staff were kind, calm, and reassuring. I especially want to thank MJ — his gentle voice and patience truly made a difference. He took the time to explain everything clearly ! Doctor Bouclin was also amazing and followed up afterward with thoughtful dietary advice tailored specifically for my pet’s needs. It showed real dedication and compassion beyond the visit itself. Thanks to their excellent care, my mini was able to come home before Christmas, and I’m incredibly grateful. I truly appreciate their professionalism, kindness, and genuine concern. I highly recommend West Animal Hospital to anyone looking for a team who truly cares about animals and their families.

We’ve been bringing our pets to Edmonton West Animal Hospital since 2013, and I can’t recommend them enough. The vets and staff are compassionate, knowledgeable, and always go above and beyond for their patients. Expert Medical Care: • They saved our male cat Oslo after repeated urinary blockages by performing a PU surgery (and a revision when healing complications arose). He’s now 3 years post-surgery and doing great. • They care for our Chihuahua Lola (13 yrs) with dental work, a hernia repair, and yearly checkups. • Our beagle Dodger, who had a history of abuse and struggled with strangers, was always treated with patience and understanding until his passing at about 15 years old. • They were there for us when our male cat Elmo passed from cancer at around 13 years old, and also care for our daughter’s rescue female cat Diamond, who is approximately 13 years old. • They’ve looked after our large dog Ollie since he was a pup (he’s now 12!). • Most recently, they did an excellent job spaying my grandmother’s 1-year-old Great Dane/Lab puppy, the only non-rescue in our family of pets. What Sets Them Apart: • Open seven days a week and in the evenings, which makes scheduling so much easier. • Very reasonably priced for exams compared to many other clinics. • Supportive through both the happy times (new pets, successful surgeries, annual care) and the sad ones (losses of beloved pets). This clinic truly treats every animal like family. Almost all of our pets are rescues, and the team has cared for each of them with the same compassion and respect. I’ve recommended Edmonton West Animal Hospital to friends and family for years, and many now trust their pets’ care to them as well. If you’re looking for a veterinary clinic that is compassionate, skilled, reliable, and affordable, this is the place to go.
