I really enjoyed coming to Earls. It was my high school haunt in the late 80’s. I had not been in 12 years, but it is still amazing. I had the fish tacos which were new and ought to stay on the menu for sure. We had a large group with two servers, one meal got missed and they comped it for the guest. Everyone had a good time.

I ordered the truffle tortellini ($28) with added prawns ($7.50). The tortellini itself was delicious. However, I am disappointed that I paid $7.50 for 4 pieces of shrimp. It is such a rip off considering I can buy a bag of 40 frozen shrimp at Costco for $16. I understand that restaurants get you to pay more for what you get but I think the added charge for the amount of prawns that I got was ridiculous. I asked the waitress if I could possibly add more and she said I could but it’d be an extra charge. To clarify I asked, “So it’s a $7.50 charge for 4 little pieces of shrimp?” and to which she replied “yup.” Therefore, if you’re ordering at Earls be cautious with the menu as it is very misleading.

My partner and I went to Earls on a whim for dinner, and it was excellent! We started with the yuzu calamari, then had steak mains. All of the food was delicious and the steaks were cooked perfectly! Our cocktails were also well made - enough so that we ordered a second round. :) The highlight of our meal was the excellent service of our server, Julietta. She was friendly and highly attentive from the very start of our meal, and thoughtfully offered to move us to a quieter section of the restaurant when a large group at the next table became boisterous. She also brought us each desserts when she found out we were celebrating some recent personal and academic successes! Julietta truly provided the best dining service that my partner and I have recently experienced. :)

Had a killer steak lunch here with the work crew on the company’s tab, and it was bang on .The well-done steak was super tender and loaded with flavour 🥩🥩juicy all the way through, couldn’t fault it. Inside’s got this gorgeous design, real chill spot to relax after a long day.👌🏻

2.5 stars out of 5 because only 50% of my meal was good. Extremely overpriced. I paid $112 including delivery and tips. It was barely enough to feed 2 people and was definitely not $45/person level quality. Steak tacos - Usually you're given 3 tacos at any other restaurant. I assumed, that since they're charging $25 for 2 tacos, that they would be a bit larger than normal. NOPE just 2 normal sized flavorless tacos. The steak tasted like it had no seasoning. Calamari - Also very underwhelming. Tiny portion, didn't even fill half of the container they put it in. It was the first thing I ate but it was already cold by the time it was delivered (my fault for using Uber Eats, Earls fault for filling a container half-way, allowing the heat dissipate more easily). Spinach dip - Best part of the meal, only praise, no complaints here. Tasted good & was portioned well. Clam Chowder - no complaints Cheesecake was the 2nd best part of the meal - I really enjoyed the tart raspberry sauce that it comes with. Overall it was quite underwhelming for the price and quality. After finishing the meal I was left with regret and feeling like I was robbed and in all honesty I don't see myself ordering/eating here again after that experience.

Firstly, it was a gorgeous evening for the patio in September, with minimal wasps pestering us during the meal. The calamari was delicious. I opted for the lettuce wrap on my blackened chicken sandwich, which was done perfectly and didn't fall apart in my hands. The server offered the additional free feta for the salad -- thank you for the tasty recommendation!

It was a wonderful experience dining there, especially since they offer vegetarian options for those with dietary restrictions. The service was exceptional, and we got to try nearly all the plant-based dishes. My favorite was the Vegan Hunan Kung Pao—absolutely delicious! A big thank you as well for the complimentary birthday dessert; such a thoughtful and sweet gesture!
