The physiotherapists and massage therapists are not only well educated but incredibly patient-focused! 10/10 such a comfortable and friendly environment.
This review is a bit overdue. Since I’ve gone through physio with Adam, he taught me to retrain my body to move differently - which he put so much effort in and persistence to make sure I really walk away with the right tools to stay healthy. On top of it, Adam was such a pleasure to work with, and his genuine interest in getting you better was unwavering throughout the whole process!
In May 2024, I was looking for a physiotherapist to assist my husband with his vertigo and hearing loss. Since my husband couldn't hear over the phone, I made calls for him. After reading many reviews and calling around, I found Adam Teece. He was gracious from the beginning, agreeing to speak with me over the phone about my husband. You see, we'd tried other practitioners but they hadn't worked with symptoms like my husband's, so we didn't want to waste any more time and money.
Once he started seeing him, my husband spoke to Adam about my chronic issues and Adam said he thought he could help me. I had been having severe hand/arm numbness/pain for around 4 years, it was getting worse despite my constant efforts and doctors were suggesting carpal tunnel surgery. Also, I had been experiencing almost 3 decades of neck and jaw pain and I've probably been to hundreds, if not thousands of different types of practitioner visits over that time (chiro, massage, osteopathy, acupuncture, physio, naturopaths, herbalists and the list goes on) diligently doing whatever exercise or treatment they gave me, yet experiencing worsening symptoms. I tried anything I could find online as well. Before I went to see Adam, I had worsened to a point where I could no longer lie on my side in an exercise class due to excruciating shoulder pain. I had constant hand and arm numbness/pain, swollen middle fingers, I couldn't make a fist or snap my fingers, and had trouble with fine motor skills due to all of these issues. I had limited upper body mobility despite stretching daily and I had widespread pain in my upper body and head that affected every aspect of my life, morning and night.
July 1, 2025 marks the anniversary of when I started seeing Adam and to say I'm grateful for the journey with him is an understatement. There is still work to be done, and sometimes I've taken steps back, but I am confident we will reach the goals of further reducing my pain and increasing mobility and strength in my upper back and neck. Adam has patiently and methodically "unwound" my issues little by little. When I have flare ups he listens to me intently, asks specific questions, and comes up with different approaches, backing off on weighted exercises, teaching me how to regain strength after a flare up or changing exercises altogether to approach from a different angle. I also find his treatments/adjustments to be amazing and specific. I didn't always know where he was leading me, but after working with him for over a year, I see that he had a specific plan from day one. In addition to being brilliant and committed to his practice and patients, his personality is calm, accepting, non judgemental and kind. He has a great sense of humour and gives you the time you need.
I should also mention that his staff have always been excellent to deal with - professional, courteous, kind, personable and good at what they do! Adam pays for your parking, there is always bottled water available and the clinic is clean and inviting. If Adam recommends a tool to use in your therapy and he has it for sale, the prices are reasonable and he vets the products first, testing them out for months at a time to ensure they are exactly what he needs.
Regardless of what your issues are, Adam is in it for the long haul, committed to getting you on the path to overcoming your issues and he seems to have endless strategies and patience to do this! If you're on the fence at all about seeing Adam, I hope this review helps you make the decision to commit to his treatment. You will be happier and healthier for it!
A++++ experience. Adam is so friendly and knowledgeable that physio was a breeze. I'm really nervous about this kind of stuff but Adam was so nice and so calm that I wad easily able to follow his directions and progressive exercises until my leg was fully functional again. He was also really great at answering any questions and giving me advice on other workouts I do and warm-ups. I came in for a hip flexor based running injury.
The space is clean and organized and the booking was always smooth. The secretary was really friendly too.
The Staff at Coeur Physiotherapy are amazing!
Filip helped and guided me finding relief with my ankle injury. The treatments sessions included a combination of specialised manual therapy techniques, stretching and exercises.
Our goal was to get me return to play sports safely as soon as possible for soccer and hockey seasons. I was able to improve my joint mobility, balance and strength much faster than I thought I would with Filip's creative approach.
He even followed up after my treatment with an email that summarized exercises and stretching to do at home - which was very useful and appreciated!
