I’ve been going to this salon for a long time (like back when it was on 8th in that little strip mall) and I’ve enjoyed every experience! I have gone to Kathleen, Meghan, and usually Jaycee but today I book in a really sudden hair cut (like they booked me in within thirty minutes) and Jenny helped me. I told her what I kinda liked and we looked at like two pictures for inspo and I even told her to throw in some of her flair too. My hair is absolutely amazing now! I’ve never liked a style on me sooooo much. She was also so sweet and kind! For all the reviews I see Jenny is unrated! But truly the whole salon is great! Everyone is welcome and all the stylists are amazing at their jobs and overall amazing experiences to talk to. Never going to another salon, Chel was my first salon I went to for haircuts and now I ain’t going anywhere else!

Sean is a gifted professional hair stylist. He does both my wife's and my hair. He suggests only products that he knows works with your hair and scalp. And he always does his best to accommodate your needs

I cannot recommend Emily at Chel Salon enough! From the moment I sat in her chair, I knew I was in good hands. She was so thorough and caring, even taking a sample of my hair to test how the bleach would react before making a plan. This attention to detail immediately put me at ease. We then collaborated on a plan, which she executed flawlessly. The results are even better than I imagined! The color is stunningly beautiful, and the cut is literally my favorite I have ever had—it’s perfect. On top of her technical skill, Emily is just a lovely person. She has the most gentle hair brushing and handling techniques I've ever experienced; it was incredibly relaxing. The entire appointment was fantastic. I'm already counting down the days until I can go back to see her!

I recently had my hair cut by Emily - she is an awesome stylist! She listened to my concerns, did a great job cutting my hair, and was so personable. I will definitely be back and really recommend both her and Chel Salon in general.

I had a consultation before I booked my appointment with two gals at the front, letting them know what I’d like and what would that cost and when can I come in. The morning I came in a spoke to the stylist at length about my past bad experiences and what I wanted. I wanted to go LIGHTER, HAVE ROOTS DONE, and have it blend nice with my grey. We talked about what tone I’d like to have my hair, I said I used to be platinum so I wanted to work towards that over time, so a cool tone. We did highlights to cover the roots and then was told we’d tone. My hair lifted well to a very light blonde. After the toner I was told it would lighten as she blow dried. As I was shocked how dark it was. I started to have a panic attack once it was dry as it was now no longer blonde, it was brown, and not a cool tone but a warm one. I was told a clarification shampoo would help that but by this time I had already been there for 6 hours and I wasn’t able to stay longer. I wasn’t comfortable paying and was told I’d receive a call that evening about what we could do to fix the situation. It’s now a week later and I still haven’t received a phone call or email. I’ve since used a clarifying shampoo and it’s hasn’t changed . First photo is what I went in with, second is what I walked out with, third is after clarifying shampoo at home at my cost, and last is the roots that weren’t done Finally got a phone call back and since I didn’t pay for my appointment they were not willing to do anything to fix or hold themselves accountable for the horrible experience I had. Wouldn’t recommend!

Meghan has worked so hard on fixing my broken fried hair that I came to her with! She has spent many hours with me throughout the past few months repairing my hair and I am beyond thankful for her! I would definitely recommend Meghan to anyone who is looking for an amazing stylist!
