We brought our car here and they missed some of the work. When it was pointed out to them they admitted to missing it and said to call the insurer to figure it out. The insurer didn’t want to help and Carstar Victoria wouldn’t hiniur their work. When we wrote and called management they didn’t bother responding.

Rear end car damage. Smooth hand off, rental car arrangement/ICBC etc. Good communication/repair updates. Repair quality was very good. The car clean on delivery was super appreciated. Car looked like new just off of the dealership lot.

From start to finish the experience dealing with CARSTAR /PRE TECH COLLISION was easy and without any hiccups. We dropped my car off and our rental was waiting for us. Signed a couple forms and we left. 3 days later they phoned and our car was ready for pickup. Damage was fixed to perfection! The car was vacuumed and washed. We highly recommend this company for any body shop/collision needs. 5 stars!

Had a minor bump to repair under ICBC. Brought the car in, the initial estimator was great. I had some additional potential work on the car and she said they'd call me when they sent off the details to ICBC as to what damages would be covered and anything not covered I could opt-in for - great. Booked a time to bring the car in for the repair. Got a call a week or so later asking to change the time, the guy on the phone asked who did the initial intake, I said a nice young woman who said she was just back from having a baby and he said ohh that explains it. Brought the car in for drop off. Older guy taking the car in mentioned that he doesn't like EVs (I have Tesla, pre-tech is a tesla and ICBC approved shop), one of the techs hanging around joined in and said that Tesla requires extra training and it sucks (or something like that). Later, while I was waiting for pickup, the older guy mentioned we're all going to lose our land to the natives (the court case of the Cowichan claim on some crown land in Richmond was in the news at the time). Didn't hear a peep from them during the course of the repair - I should have called but I was busy. They did the minimum ICBC repair, and it looks good. But disappointed they didn't follow through on the extra touch-ups. Picked up the car, they hadn't reconnected the in frunk lighting system (I did it), some dusty hand prints around (not a big deal) the floor mats had been washed off, but were full of water, like actual puddles! I'd try a different shop next time, particularly for a Tesla repair. The Tesla service center in Langford is fabulous by the way, super responsive, fast and cheaper for tires and other maintenance. I'll see if they can fix the little cosmetic wear and tear issues Pre-Tech didn't want to.

I was more than pleased with Shane and his team at Car Star. My vehicle was hit while parked at work... Rear drivers door needed to be replaced, which was upsetting as the car is a 2008 Nissan Versa and never been hit. Staff was kind, informative, and easy to contact. Enterprise Rentals was also amazing!! Thanks to everyone involved, you made an unfortunate situation so easy!!
