*WOW* Dr. Lopez is, by far and away, the best vet we’ve ever encountered! She is otherworldly wonderful - instantly making our senior rescue dog feel so safe and loved to the extent that she was totally calm the whole visit (showing no signs of distress like she has during past vet appts). Dr. Lopez took so much time getting to know our dog’s chronic medical conditions, assessing the effectiveness of current treatment and mapping out where we can go from here to make sure our old gal can live her best life all things considered. This office exudes such good vibes and it’s an immaculately clean and inviting space. We find it to be conveniently located but even if you’re a bit further away, this place would be worth the drive! Valeria (at the front desk) has been so prompt and helpful with all email correspondences so you don’t have to worry about timely replies re: questions, concerns, appointment logistics, etc. We are soooo thrilled to have found Dr. Lopez and you will be, too 😊🐾🐈‍⬛💛✨

We had our first visit with Simba, and I couldn’t be happier with the care we received! From vaccinations to his nail trim and gland expression, the team was incredibly patient, gentle, and thorough. Simba is still adjusting to so many new things, and they made a potentially stressful experience completely positive for both him and us. Their kindness, understanding, and professionalism really stood out. It’s rare to find a team that makes you feel so welcome while genuinely caring for your pet’s comfort and well-being. We feel so lucky to have found them and will definitely be coming back!

Dr. Lopez and her assistant provided in-home euthanasia for my sweet beagle. I couldn’t have asked for a more kind, caring and compassionate team. They gave my pup a relaxed and calm environment in her final moments and made the very difficult experience peaceful and comfortable for us. I highly recommend Calgary Family Veterinarian and will be using them for my other pup going forward. Thank you so much for all of your kindness ❤️

I’ve had my cats seen by Dr Lopez on an off since 2016. She is in the business because she loves the little ones and not for the money. When she recommends a test it is because it’s necessary and not because she’s trying to rack up your bill, I can’t say I have the same at ease feeling with any other vet I’ve been to. Her new clinic is absolutely beautiful, my cat was so at ease, he felt at home. He was treated with so much love by her and her amazing staff, he wasn’t in any hurry to leave as I’ve had other pets in different clinics before I met Dr Lopez and you couldn’t get them out of there fast enough. Your little one will not be in better hands.

a beautifully designed, welcoming space with the kindest staff. Dr. Lopez is incredibly knowledgeable and takes the time to explain her treatments and recommendations in detail without overwhelming. we completely trust our cat in her care and feel empowered caring for him under her guidance.
