I just had the BEST salon experience ever with Katie, like genuinely unreal. She gave me the full experience: immaculate vibes, top-tier gossip, and the most relaxing head massage of my life. And the blowout? Easily one of the best I’ve ever had. What really blew me away is that I didn’t even come in with super clear reference photos, just a general idea (peekaboo + calico vibes), and she somehow brought my vision to life perfectly. She checked in throughout the entire process to make sure I loved the cut, colour, and placement, and I felt completely heard the whole time. ALSO I’ve previously box-dyed my hair BLACK, and she still managed to lighten it beautifully without compromising the integrity of my hair. That alone deserves an award!! She was so meticulous and focused, carefully sectioning everything and taking her time with each step. I never felt rushed and it felt like she was fully dedicated to making sure every detail was right. I walked in asking for peekaboo and calico colours and walked out with a cut, colour, blowout, and highlights that exceeded anything I had pictured. She is genuinely a creative vivids genius. If you’re even thinking about booking with Katie you should do it. Absolute god-tier stylist.

Ran to get my brows done on a quick lunch break down the street and Massy was AMAZING! She was also able to do my lip at the same time as I forgot to mention it over the phone. She kept my natural shape, explaining her process throughout and gave me the option of taking more off if desired; everything was so well informed right off the bat. She also let me know that I would be a great candidate for a brow lamination and even did a demonstration while in the room. As someone who has managed a salon before, colour me impressed! Not only was she an amazing esthetician (minimal pain, fast and efficient), offered tailored recommendations for additional services that made sense for me/my skin, but she was a great conversationalist and made me feel super confident with her service. Out of my experience receiving waxes and training my own estheticians, Massy is top-tier! Only downside was their price list. On their website, the prices are listed as $18 (brow) and $12 (lip) however I was charged $25 (brow) and $14 (lip). Not super upset as I truly believe Massy’s service reflects this price, however would’ve appreciated the consistency in pricing. Highly recommend Massy for all your lunch break waxing needs!

Felt really rushed and have some blotchy and orange pieces (I get that I have a lot of hair but they should’ve canceled if when I came in, they didn’t have time for the job instead of making me feel guilty about it being a long job). The back of the head is dark, not blended, even though it was full highlights. I didn’t ask for “money pieces” in the front but they are VERY platinum and contrast way too much. Didn’t ask for bang cut and the bangs made me cry. $400 (way more than the website quote) to feel very uncute and just wanting to not dye my hair again.

I get my hair done by Taylor and only by Taylor. I swear by her! I’ve been getting my hair done by her since 2023 and I would not go anywhere else. She is my go to for all hair advice from cuts, colour, products and most recently my bf! She recommended Afi for my partner and Afi worked MAGIC. She transformed his hair and made him into a whole new man. We will most definitely be going back!!

I had such a great experience with Mariya! She gave me a beautiful layered haircut and styled it perfectly. I have thick, heavy hair and she really knew how to work with the texture. She’s so gentle, thoughtful, and clearly very knowledgeable. I felt completely comfortable throughout the whole appointment and left feeling amazing. Highly recommend her if you want someone who truly understands different hair types and takes her time to do it right!
