Highly recommend Alvey’s for German cars! After getting quotes of $8,000+ elsewhere for our Mercedes C300, Marty diagnosed the real issue and quoted us significantly less. During the repair, he realized some parts didn't need replacing and lowered the price further - the total was less than $2,000. It is so great to find an honest mechanic! Marty was great to deal with and quickly resolved a minor follow-up issue we had.

Brutal experience! Brought my Mercedes B200 in several times for an issue that they couldn’t resolve and just made excuses and gave a bunch of BS about ordering parts and not doing it. Terrible communication!! Would not recommend this place to anyone!

Bit disappointed and frustrating. Got my wastegate actuator replaced in January 2024. Paid 1k for the job and Marty said it should fix the turbo issue. No doubt Marty saved me money but it sucks the issue is back 10 months later. I did move away from Sask but it doesn’t help when the receptionist essentially told me to “go figure” and informed no liability after 90 days. Understandable policy but poor service and thought this was a friendly shop.

Very disappointed... It was my first time dealing with Alvey Automotive, and I'm afraid it will be my last. I took my vehicle there for an oil change. I felt this was a good way to find out how good their service is. The reviews suggest it's excellent. The quality of the work was likely adequate, but the price was VERY high. They charged me $186.48 (with taxes) for a basic oil change in my SUV using synthetic oil. Being shocked by the cost, I phoned a few other places for comparison, including Great Canadian Oil Change and the dealership. The most expensive of them was $118.77 (with taxes). Alvey's was 57% more expensive than the next most expensive place!! UPDATE: Marty removed the oil filter ($16.15 + taxes) and "shop supplies" ($3.90 + taxes) from the bill. Despite the price adjustment, the revised cost was still $45 (38%) more than the next most expensive place. I believe they are a very competent shop, but that's too much for basic maintenance work.

After having a few concerning fault codes show up and then resolve on their own shortly after, I had called to get the vehicle looked at to ensure there were not critical underlying issues. I spoke with Marty who was able to get me in asap and within the same day I dropped the vehicle off had it back to me with all my concerns addressed and issues resolved. I couldn’t be happier with the service and exceptional experience provided by Marty and won’t hesitate to return in the future. Highly recommend.
