I’m new to Victoria & had a long term relationship with my previous stylist -so trying someone new can be a bit of a gamble. I chose Heidi to refresh my golden blonde toner and she did an impeccable job. The salon is gorgeous with a relaxing vibe. So happy with my hair, will def return for another service. Alchemy Hair Salon is truly a dream come true - and now everyone gets to experience it. Ryan has been my stylist for over a year….my hair is thick, sometimes wavy, sometimes frizzy and has been colored for years but it’s never an issue for Ryan. His industry expertise truly shows in how effortlessly he manages it! From his expert guidance, to his exceptional colour and cutting skills, I totally trust Ryan with my hair! Fiona

I came in today for a last-minute men’s haircut and beard trim at **Alchemy Hair Studio**, and I’m so glad I did. I have thin hair, which isn’t always easy to cut or blend properly, but Louisa did an outstanding job. The quality of the cut was excellent, and everything looked seamless. The real highlight, though, was the incredibly relaxing head massage that Louisa gave me. It was the perfect way to unwind and made the whole experience feel above and beyond. Louisa was professional, attentive, and clearly skilled at what she does. I left feeling fresh, relaxed, and looking better than I expected for a same-day appointment. Highly recommend Alchemy Hair Studio—thank you, Louisa!

Louisa has been my one and only since 2022. Our first meeting was a hugely successful risk with a go-for-it major chop to a pixie. I have never had such a beautifully feminine short cut! Since then, a truly painless grow out that is now very as easy to style with my natural curl as it is to straighten. Her cuts maintain their shape and ease far longer than any I have ever had. Louisa is down to earth, sensitive to your needs, and has a great sense of humour. Thank you Louisa!

Peter & Ryan are truly amazing! It’s been years since I’ve had a proper haircut because of a really difficult past experience that left me anxious and hesitant to trust anyone new with my hair. Walking into Peter’s chair today completely changed that for me in the best way possible! From the very beginning, Peter made me feel so safe, seen, and comfortable just being myself. He took the time to really listen, not just to what I wanted my hair to look like, but to what I actually needed in terms of what’s manageable for my lifestyle, energy, and capacity. He checked in about my comfort, explained what he was doing, and made sure every step felt collaborative and supportive. For the first time in years, I genuinely enjoyed getting my hair done. I left feeling lighter, confident, and completely in love with my cut. It’s rare to find someone who brings that much care, artistry, and empathy into their work. The new salon in Chinatown is absolutely stunning , it’s like stepping into a piece of art. You can feel the creativity and thought that went into every corner. I’m so grateful I found Peter, I can’t wait for my next cut. ❤️
