This is the only clinic I go will to for my cat onion. Every time I come it’s such a pleasant experience as everyone here is super welcoming. The staff and team that work here actually care about your furry friend and it is definitely noticeable. If you are looking for a place to trust you found it.

We sadly had to euthanize our 16 year old Min Pin and I just have to say that the staff at Albany Veterinary Clinic made this devastating day just a touch more tolerable. When I came in with our pup we were greeted with empathy for the situation. We were then taken into a private room, the staff had arranged the room to have a fluffy blanket on the table, a candle, a vase of white flowers, just to commemorate the significance of the moment. A box of tissues ready to be used, which I really needed. Dr. Cecilia came in and explained everything again, I signed the paperwork and she took my pup to the back to set up his IV. She shortly came back with him and asked me if I was ready for the medication to be administered. She was very patient and empathetic to my emotional state and did not rush the process, which a greatly appreciated. She made sure that he was comfortable and he passed very quickly once the injection was given through the IV. All the staff treated me and my pup with sincere kindness and made an unbearably sad day just a bit more bearable. Oh and all this was happening while the fire department was putting out a fire next door, so there were firefighters and the fire marshal (it was confirmed that it was safe to stay in the building before we had arrived) coming in and out of the clinic the entire time and the staff made it seem like what was happening with my situation was still of importance, even though they were dealing with chaos and even other clients being blocked in by the fire trucks. The staff asked me if it was ok to send us a card and take his footprints. I said that would be so wonderful. They normally mail it out, but I was coming in with our other pup just a couple of days later to get his teeth cleaned, so I asked if I could have it then. It was such a lovely gesture and my kids especially were so grateful for the little paw prints that they made for us. I just want to thank Albany Vet Clinic for their care, empathy and kindness on that particularly difficult day for me and my family, I meant a lot.

After so many years, we still happily make the long drive to see Albany Veterinary Hospital, especially Dr. Zandi. Even though we live far south in Edmonton, nothing stops us from coming all the way north. The level of trust we have in him and his ability to treat our dogs is unmatched. Dr. Zandi has been the veterinarian for three of our dogs over the years. He is an honest, highly skilled, and experienced vet. His diagnoses have always been accurate, his treatments fair, and his approach thoughtful and caring. He genuinely cares not only about the pets, but also about the owners, and treats everyone with kindness and respect. We truly cannot thank him enough. Every person we have referred to Dr. Zandi over the years has been grateful to have him as their pet’s doctor, and they remain very happy with their choice. A heartfelt thank you as well to the wonderful and kind staff at Albany Veterinary Hospital. They are always welcoming, professional, and make you feel that you and your pet are in very good hands. Highly recommended.

We are first time dog owners and brought in our new pup, Leo, for a check up as he wasn't feeling well. The team took such great care of Leo and us. Dr. Cecilia talked us through every step and procedure in such a knowledgeable, kind and supportive way. All the staff are true animal lovers and that really comes through in how they care for their patients. I can't thank them enough for their kind words and diligent work to make sure Leo came home happy and healthy! Definitely a great place to bring your furry friend!

By far the Best vet clinic I have ever gone too! The staff literally go above and beyond for you and your pet (s). They respond to emails asap, and help resolve my questions over email or phone if I am unable to make it in. The veterinary doctors are ALL great. Extremely knowledgeable and trustworthy, they take care of my little blind Johnny who gets seizures, and my princess Luna, who they literally had to carry around like a baby after her surgery a couple weeks ago, cause she didn’t want to be put down. They treat your pet like their own little baby. It’s great. I can appreciate all the hard work they put in at their office. All around great team! Keep being great! 😊
